Feeling overwhelmed does not always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like replying to messages feels impossible.
Sometimes it looks like cancelling plans because you cannot face one more conversation.
Sometimes it looks like feeling numb, flat, irritated, tearful, or completely disconnected from yourself.
And when you have spent years masking, it can be even harder to notice.
Because you might be so used to pushing through that you do not realise how much it is costing you.
Overwhelm is not weakness.
It is often your mind and body saying, “I cannot keep carrying this in the same way.”
