We’re continuing the celebrations for Staff Appreciation Week—and today was a sweet one! 🍫✨

Every member of our incredible team was treated to delicious chocolate as a small token of our gratitude. It’s just a little way of saying a very big thank you for the kindness, dedication, and hard work they show each and every day.

Our staff truly are the heart of our home, and we love celebrating them in every way we can. 💛

We’ve had a fantastic day teaming up with The Mayfield Care Home at the Ilkley Carnival! 🎉

From the lively atmosphere to the colourful sights and sounds, it’s been a day full of smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories. We all thoroughly enjoyed soaking it all in, waving at the parade and taking in all the entertainment on offer.

Days like today are so special—getting out into the community, sharing experiences, and making the most of moments together 💜

This weekend we’ve been making the most of the lovely weather ☀️

Yesterday we enjoyed a walk around the local area, spreading a little joy along the way by leaving some of our homemade knitted dolls for others to find and keep — we hope they brought a smile to a few faces!

Today the weather has taken a turn, so it’s been a cosy, crafty kind of day indoors. Lots of creativity, chatter and some puzzles keeping our hands busy making something special ✂️🧶

What a beautiful day we’ve had soaking up the sunshine in the garden! ☀️ There’s nothing better than a bit of fresh air, good company, and plenty of smiles all around. Residents enjoyed relaxing outdoors, chatting, and making the most of the lovely weather.

We also had a very special visitor today – little Mable joined us with Julie, and she is always an instant hit! 🐾 Barbara and Brenda especially enjoyed spending time with her and even took her for a gentle walk, which brought lots of joy (and a few extra cuddles along the way!).

Moments like these really brighten everyone’s day and remind us how special the simple things can be 💛

After treating our day staff earlier today, it was only right we showed the same love to our amazing night team 🌙🍕

Here’s our night staff enjoying their well-deserved Domino’s – a small thank you for the big difference they make every single night. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment never go unnoticed.

🏡 Thursday at home 🏡

Another fabulous day here, filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of special moments ☀️

We began the day with a relaxed and welcoming coffee morning ☕ Residents enjoyed catching up and having a good chat. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere. It’s always such a lovely way to start the day, with plenty of chatter and a few laughs along the way.

This afternoon, we were joined by Oona from Moov for a brilliant seated exercise session 💪 Everyone got involved, moving at their own pace while having fun and keeping active. It’s always amazing to see the energy and enthusiasm in the room!

Marjorie had a surprise visit from her daughter , Sharon, who is visiting from Holland. It was lovely for her to have her family altogether 🥰

We were also delighted to welcome back Jodie and Dizzy, our wonderful therapy dog 🐾 Dizzy brought so much comfort and joy, with lots of cuddles and happy faces all around.

To round off the day, we hosted our pop-up restaurant with a Romanian theme 🇷🇴 The dining room was transformed for the occasion, and residents enjoyed a delicious menu along with the chance to experience something a little different. Dan’s food was absolutely delicious!
A perfect end to a truly lovely day!

Today we showed a little extra appreciation for our amazing team 🍕
As a thank you for all their hard work and dedication, we treated staff to Domino’s pizza — a small gesture to recognise the big difference they make every day.
