I cherish the connections I made with students I taught at NSCD. 💚
I am so happy our paths crossed and it always makes my day if I happen to run into you. Sometimes this is in a dance studio, sometimes just out and about in town or in a yoga studio.
I personally found yoga really great practice to support my dancing. It was a non- competitive, non - judgemental place for me to honour my body, yoga mat was a sanctuary to ease sore muscles , prevent injuries, bring about balance , remind me of calm and also a place of learning about myself and my body , of course it’s all one thing.
Being a dancer or dance student takes real commitment- to practice , to stay well, to keep on top of your game, to make life choices that support your career… so I encourage you to find things that support your journey, LIKE yoga.
Come and practice with me on Mondays 6:45pm at Catherine’s Place or Wednesdays 5:10pm at Yorkshire Dance.
