Marcus is the first person to try the new COVVI Straight Wrist!
The NEW Straight Wrist variant of the COVVI Hand is both lighter and shorter than the original COVVI Hand. Featuring an Easy Quick Disconnect (EQD) connection – also present in the ‘flexing wrist’ version of the COVVI Hand – this model can easily be swapped with other prosthetic tools without clinical assistance.
The COVVI Hand: Straight Wrist is one of three wrist types available as part of COVVI’s Wrist Suite – providing our users with even more personalisation to suit many types of limb differences.

BIG NEWS… Henrik Cox is the FIRST person to use the COVVI Hand: Friction Wrist! 🦾 But why is this so important? 🤔⬇️
Born with a partial hand on his right side, Henrik’s residual limb is longer than most people who wear upper-limb prosthetics. As the shortest version of the COVVI Hand when installed on the end of a prosthetic, the Friction Wrist variant allows Henrik to get the most out of his hand for daily tasks and activities whilst giving an improved cosmetic appearance. 👏
Henrik said: “The shift towards the Friction Wrist has been a great improvement for my experience. It’s the lightest version of the COVVI Hand, so it has reduced that weight at the end of my arm, making a noticeable difference in my fatigue over time.”
COVVI’s new wrist types have now received registration from UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, learn more through the link in our profile 🦾👏
