Meet Navjit Degun, a passionate Newcastle fan who joined The Square Ball’s 121-mile walk from Newcastle to Leeds — not just for football, but for something far bigger. ⚽

Navjit walked in memory of his brother, who tragically died by su***de. His mission: to raise money and awareness for Andy’s Man Club, a charity focused on men’s mental health and ending the stigma around it.

It was a privilege to treat Navjit and help ease the physical strain from such a meaningful journey. 🙌

👋 Had the pleasure of treating none other than Barry Simmons — you might recognise him from TV quiz shows like Eggheads! 🧠📺

Barry came to me with pain in his arm after doing lat pulldowns at the gym. He was concerned it might be a frozen shoulder, but after a full assessment, I was able to reassure him it wasn’t that.

The real issue? Tightness and irritation through the traps, lats, delts, and biceps — all key muscles involved in upper-body pulling movements.

After some focused soft tissue work, we were able to release the tension, ease the pain, and restore movement.

It’s a great example of how massage isn’t just for relaxation — it can be an essential part of staying active, especially when you're training hard.
