Week 12✅ (28/04/25): final few days in Leeds, last session with my PT Adam then move out Wednesday morning😅 Very weird seeing my little flat empty:(

Started the week with a mooch around Ilkey moor and tea in city centre. Mowgli slept over on my final night and we stopped off on our way back home for a run/ hike.

Officially started my new part time job which is a breath of fresh air!

Energy levels however have dropped massively in the latter half of this week as I’ve entered back into my luteal phase, making training a physical and mental challenge. I did have to cut my bike and run sessions short on the weekend because I had nothing left:( However I’m trying not to be too hard on myself as I’ve had a lot going on, and considering this, I’ve not actually had many tears (yet lol).

My mood has been a lot more stable, whether this be the distraction of a lot of change or because my environment is healthier, I’m not sure. I was half expecting this months luteal phase to be extremely turmoil, as I’m not normally good with change at all and do like routine but I’m weirdly okay so far!

Pitchside antics, swipe for a surprise xxFeels weird having my weekends back again

Week 6✅ (17/03/25): My favourite training week so far- my energy levels were through the roof! An investment in a garmin was made.. sorry Fitbit:/ but I'm obsessed!

As well as my Ironman 70.3 training, l've got a side mission of getting Tim slim.

Really starting to feel an increase in my fitness levels.. even managed to shave around half an hour off an 8km I struggled through in January! Safe to say this triathlon stuff is addicting🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️

Officially back home from Aus, excited to get straight back on the pitchside with & this weekend🏉💃🏼

2018. My first season at Darlington RFU, blissfully unaware of not just the rules of the game but the family I’d gain from it.

Being the youngest on team and the newest to rugby, Tommy & Paul took me on, teaching me everything they knew, from the field to the bar.

I’m grateful. Grateful to have had the opportunity to have been in the presence of, never mind coached by, one of the greatest and most respected people in North East rugby.

Tommy had this energy that always inspired me to give things my all even if it scared me. A true gentleman that wanted the ultimate best for Darlington and its players.

After briefly leaving Darlington for my last couple of years of university, I returned back this season, fully qualified as their Sports Therapist.

Thank you Tommy, for everything you did, for not just Darlington RFU, but for me as an individual.

You will truly be missed, though your legacy will live on in all that knew you.

Love and thoughts to family, friends
