Feeling so grateful for these wonderful people who jumped in to help sort through our jigsaw puzzle 🧩❤️. Piece by piece, they’re making sure everything is in its place and that no pieces are missing. It’s amazing how something as simple as a puzzle can bring people together, share laughs, and create memories. Thank you for making this little project such a joyful one! 🌟

🎶 Rita really enjoyed having a sing-along this evening, and it was such a lovely way to liven everyone up! 💕 The room was full of smiles, toe-tapping, and plenty of familiar tunes that brought back happy memories. Music always has a way of lifting spirits and bringing people together — and tonight was no exception. 🌟

💫 This afternoon, Pat had a wonderful time during our sensory texture session. She especially loved exploring the magic sand, telling us how “amazing” it felt in her hands. 👐✨

Afterwards, we rounded off the session with a little sing-along — and of course, we made sure to include Pat’s favourite song. 🎶💖 The smile on her face said it all — a truly joyful and uplifting afternoon!

🌟 Jean had a wonderful sensory session this afternoon! She really got to grips with the magic sand, enjoying the textures and creativity it brought. After that, she moved on to making her very own bead necklace — carefully threading each bead with focus and flair. 🎨✨

Of course, once it was finished, Jean just had to show off her amazing work, proudly modelling her beautiful creation for everyone to admire. 💕 What a lovely way to spend the afternoon, full of creativity, smiles, and a touch of sparkle!

121 time allows residents to have our full attention and hear stories from their younger days, tell us all about their spouses and really make them feel like it is just you and them in a bubble for the period of time you are with them.

Slow and meaningful time is just as important to us and the residents as our busy activity schedule ❤️❤️❤️

Well, now you know! Kayleigh over at Riverdale Care Home shared with us what a typical day looks like for her from 8am when the day is just beginning, right through to 8pm when she heads home to spend time with her family (and frenchie 🐶)!

“Having each other’s back and looking after each other is a good quality in a friend, and William looks after me." 🥰

William and John at Millfield Nursing Home in Bolsover have been best buddies since January 2024 when William joined the Millfield family! The pair grew up in similar circles at school which gave them lots to talk about, as did their shared love of gardening 🌺

Over the past year and a half they have made core memories, going on trips to the local pub and Crich Tramway Village - they have a very special brotherly bond!

Green Park Nursing Home recently enjoyed some very exciting entertainment as the homes 'stopped off' in India as part of our Cruise Around the World competition! Although every resident and team member had a fantastic time, a special shoutout goes to Malcolm, the happy chappy who is always front and centre of the dancefloor 🪩
