Dearest fellow Reiki Practitioners, Reiki Students and Enthusiasts,

I’m reaching out today with a warm invitation to join me in fostering a beautiful, supportive community of people who love Reik!

As you know, the power of Reiki lies not just in the energy itself, but in the connections it cultivates.

I believe that by coming together in practice, sharing our experiences, and offering support to one another, we can elevate the well-being of everyone!

With this intention, I’m excited to host regular bi-monthly, online, Reiki share session! This is a space for us to:

* Practice Reiki: Give and receive Reiki in a safe and nurturing environment.

* Offer Supervision: (Confidentially) discuss any hard cases or experiences and use each other as a support system.

* Connect with like-minded souls: Share experiences, insights, and challenges we encounter on our Reiki journeys.

* Come together in practice: each time we'll meet and share practices that have offered support.

* Grow together: Learn from each other and inspire one another with our unique perspectives and approaches.

Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just starting out, you are warmly welcomed!

The first Reiki share session will be held on Wednesday 14th 7pm-8.30pm, via zoom.

✨Exciting Reiki Research Update! ✨

Hey Lovelies,

Another amazing Reiki Study....

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of Reiki applied to women in the postmenopausal period on menopausal symptoms and depression levels.

This randomised controlled study was conducted with postmenopausal women registered in a family health center. The sample of the study consisted of 82 women (Reiki=41, control=41).

While four sessions of Reiki were applied to the women in the Reiki group, once a week for 4 weeks. All participants in the control group received routine care provided by health professionals at the family health center.

**Key Findings from the Study:**

✨The mean scores of menopausal complaints and psychological complaints were significantly reduced in the Reiki group compared to the control group.

✨Similarly, the mean score of depression was significantly decreased in the Reiki group compared to the control group.

Reiki practice significantly reduced menopausal symptoms and depression levels in postmenopausal women. These findings suggest that Reiki may be an effective complementary treatment option for women going through menopause.

I know I always say this but it really does mean so much to be able to share this beautiful practice 💖

When my son was stillborn I pushed down all of the hurt and pain because it felt too much to process. Reiki opened a line to that pain, in a safe cocooned way, it helped me to see the pain and deep grief and allow space for me to hold, process and release.

Losing will never feel or be okay for me but, Reiki my connection to nature, mindfulness, breathwork and learning to love myself have helped me to see how lucky I am, that for a very short but beautiful time, he grew and swam inside of me, and he continues to influence everything I do! For all of that I'm eternally grateful..... Thank you my beautiful Nature Angel 🙏✨

Reiki, helped me to find light in the darkest spaces of myself and I feel grateful everyday to be able to share that, to be able to put the light back into dark spaces for others! ✨

✨Exciting Reiki Research Update! ✨

Hey Lovelies,

As someone who works within the NHS, providing Reiki. I am often met with the idea that Reiki is 'a nice thing to do' and nothing more!

But I know from personal experience that it made a huge difference to my cancer recovery journey, which is why I am now so passionate about it!

This is why I am joining my fellow practitioners in the fight to promote the many benefits Reiki has to offer, with regular posts about all the wonderful studies that are taking place.

My hope is that the medical world starts to really see the many benefits of this beautiful practice, respect this complementary therapy and start to open up to all the ways it could support people to heal holistically!

So here goes the very first one.... ✨

A recent study published in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management evaluated a volunteer Reiki program for cancer outpatients receiving infusion treatments. Between March 2022 and February 2024, 392 Reiki sessions were provided to 268 unique patients.

The results were compelling and showed that even short, 15-20 minute sessions led to clinically significant improvements!

**Key Findings from the Study:**

✨Significant reductions in pain, fatigue, and anxiety.

✨A reduction in nausea.

✨An increase in overall well-being.

This study provides strong evidence for the short-term benefits of Reiki in a clinical setting, reinforcing its value as a complementary therapy. It's a beautiful example of how this gentle, yet powerful, practice can support healing on multiple levels.

My heart overflows with joy when I share Reiki with anyone navigating the tough parts of life 💖

Reiki was a true lifeline for my own challenges, helping me find moments of peace, strength, and hope during long periods of uncertainty, deep grief and health issues.

To have this amazing tool, that supports me holistically, to relax, slowdown and find a tiny piece of hope is a gift beyond words. I now respect my life more than ever and know that to live this life is a privilege.

The icing on the cake for me is; to be able to offer that same support to others...it's truly humbling.

Through this beautiful practice I feel the deep sense of everyone being connected and witnessing the profound impact Reiki has on those receiving it, finding peace and connection still blows my mind.

Seeing my clients faces soften, feeling the tension ease from their bodies, and hearing them express a renewed sense of calm and well-being...that's what truly fills my soul.

Knowing that I can share this beautiful practice and make a difference, even in a small way, is the most precious reward. ✨
