What a fantastic day we had yesterday here at Walton Manor Care Home 💛

Our morning was spent enjoying some lovely 1-1 time with residents, sharing conversations, laughter and meaningful moments together ☀️

In the afternoon we were delighted to welcome North East Productions for their travelling theatre performance of When I’m Cleaning Windows 🎭🪟 Residents thoroughly enjoyed the show, singing along, laughing together and spending time with friends.

What a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend we had here at Walton ✨

Sunday was a firm favourite with our Elvis-themed quiz – always a hit with residents, bringing back memories and plenty of singalong moments 🎤🕺💙

We also enjoyed a lovely ‘pub night’ atmosphere, with great company, laughter, and a real sense of togetherness 🍻😊

Weekends like these are what it’s all about – meaningful moments, smiles, and creating memories together 💛

What a lovely day we’ve had at Walton ☀️💛

We made the most of the sunshine with a trip out to Pugneys Country Park, where residents enjoyed a gentle walk around the lake, watching the ducks, children playing, and even the miniature railway 🚂🦆 Fresh air, smiles, and a real sense of calm all round.

Back at home, we kept the good vibes going with an interactive quiz, bringing plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great conversation 🧠✨

It’s been especially lovely to see our new residents settling in so well, with new friendships already beginning to form 💛

It’s been one of those simple but special days – trips out, walks in the garden, sunshine, and time spent together 🌿☀️

Today at Walton manor we celebrated national Photography day with some photos taken. We then played a game of guess famous faces photos, which was enjoyed by everyone that joined in.
We have enjoyed a classical music session in the libary which was a lovely way to start the day.

Followed by a game of throw the beanbag to get us moving with some Elvis playing the back ground.

This afternoon we have enjoyed a sing a long session with pom pom's, we listened to Elvis, ABBA, Frank Sinatra and many more. It was smiles all around and even some dancing.

💛 A lovely day here at Walton 💛

Today we were joined by a very special little visitor, Iris, who came along with our Activities Coordinator 💕
There were plenty of smiles, gentle interactions, and lovely conversations – it’s always so special to see the joy that intergenerational moments can bring to our residents 🥰

We also held our monthly activities meeting, where residents shared what they’ve been enjoying most and what they’d love to see more of. From favourite entertainers and quizzes to more trips out into the community, it’s so important that our activity programme reflects their voices and choices 💬

We’re now looking ahead to May with lots of exciting plans in the pipeline – watch this space! 🌸

Today at Walton has been full of smiles and lovely moments 💛

This morning, we took Anne over to visit our sister home to see what Songs & Smiles is all about – and what a fantastic morning it was! 🎶 It was so special to share the experience together, and Anne had a wonderful time.

In the afternoon, we made the most of the sunshine with a stroll around our beautiful garden, followed by an impromptu kick about – lots of laughter and great energy all round! ⚽🌿

We rounded off a busy and exciting day with a game of bingo, bringing everyone together for a bit of fun and friendly competition 🎉

Today at Walton Manor, we have celebrated St George's day with a guess the song round based on St George's day. We have also done some therapy with colouring themed around St georges day. We also have done a guess the george quiz to help us test our knowledge on this day.

This afternoon some of our residents have enjoyed a pamper session with massages to help relax our residents. These have also offered some of the residents some one to one sessions to allow us remember days gone by.

This morning our residents have enjoyed a sing a long with some songs from Elvis and Frank Sinatra. It was smiles all around remembering the songs from years gone by.

This afternoon was a game of throwing bean bags into a box one resident managed to get all 3 in 100. Winning the round, we then did a game of catch followed by brain exercise with a quiz.

We kicked off the morning with a quiz and some reminiscing, sharing memories, stories, and plenty of laughter together 💛

This afternoon, we were wonderfully entertained by the fabulous Sarah the Singer, who had everyone tapping their feet, singing along, and enjoying the music 🎶💃

We also had the pleasure of welcoming a new member to the Walton community – a big welcome to Mike! We’re thrilled to have you with us and look forward to getting to know you 😊

✨ Saturday at Walton Manor ✨

Our fabulous care team really pulled out all the stops this weekend, transforming the home into a wonderful pub-style party for our residents 🍻💃

The Evening was filled with laughter, great conversation, and plenty of dancing – with a refreshing glass of bucks fizz in hand to make it extra special 🥂

It was lovely to see everyone coming together, enjoying the music, reminiscing, and sharing such a joyful atmosphere 💛

A huge thank you to our amazing team for creating such a fun and memorable Day for our residents – these are the moments that truly matter ✨
