4years ago today I was having my 10millionth toilet trip during my gym session, whilst heavily pregnant and stumbled across this mirror that said I snapped the pic and added “cannotfitintoherownshortsanymore” yes I was hot, yes I was having to wear James’ clothes, yes I was under constant criticism and scrutiny of other gym members with their sarcastic comments such as “you could do with doing some more sit ups love” and “are you sure you should be here love”, yes those people may have meant well… however as a fully qualified pre and post natal personal trainer this bubsa was in pretty good hands! I trained through both of my pregnancies and had no back ache, no swollen joints and had a stress free labour (2nd time, the first still haunts me 😱), the moral of the story is I had to break through a whole heap of barriers to keep my training going, however a very healthy mummy and babies at the end of it was so worth it and I am really proud of myself and had a super supportive hubby who had my back.
