Rebecca came to me with Sciatica and lower back issues. Using a range of massage techniques I'm trained in I was able to help her in one session. So far she is still pain free which is amazing! She has been that impressed by my work she has sent friends and work colleagues my way who have had long standing issues. I have also fortunately been able to help them. I specialise in pain management and pain release, but also offer other treatments.

I'm a Sports Therapist, Energy Healer, Reflexologist and Holistic Therapist. I work with a vast range of different clients including Athletes, Disabled people, young people with cerebral palsy, pregnant women, office people , workmen, dentists, surgeons, gps and anyone who is in need of my service.

Bodywork Therapies By Jo has changed location. I'm now based at Leeds Complementary Therapy Centre, Otley Rd, Weetwood, Leeds, LS16 5LQ.

The centre is in between 'Magic Sissors' and 'West Park Cafe' on Otley Rd. There's parking outside the venue. There's a lovely energy in the building and the rooms are cosy and quiet, and suitable for all treatments.

I will also be continuing to do mobile visits on request and will travel up to 15 miles. A 20% charge is added for mobile treatments.

My new opening hours are:

Tuesday 8am - 8pm
Wednesday 10am - 8pm
Thursday 8am - 8pm
Friday 10am - 7pm
Saturday 10am - 4pm

A picture of me doing Alfresco massage for my lovely client .k.s 💚 It's been a week today since my surgery to remove a large benign tumour in my hip. I'm feeling loads better than I did, but I'm still recuperating. I'm a self employed Sports/Massage therapist, so I've obviously had to take time off work because my job is very physically demanding. I sometimes massage up to seven people a day, which is not sustainable as the years go by.
I'm going back to my treatment room on March 10th and looking forward to it.This is the longest time I've had off work in years, as I've not had any holidays for a long time. It's only through a blip with my health that I've been forced to stop. My lesson in this life is to learn balance and nurture my own needs. When I go back to work in a couple of weeks, I will definitely keep this in my mind and give myself more time to rest. ❤️🙏❤️

I've just done a treatment swap with Matthew (Jez) I've always admired Matthew's knowledge and practice. He used muscle activation and fascial release to release my rib cage, neck muscles, psoas muscles which I've been in pain with for sometime. I was his massage model 22 years ago, before I even had the thought of going into bodywork myself...so this man is a fountain of knowledge. The work that he does is very Intuitive also which I love, as I work mainly with my intuition. On my last visit to him a few years ago he helped me release alot of trapped trauma, which cause me to have a massive physical release. Thanks for today Matthew.

I had a lovely day in Filey with my mum yesterday. I love being by the sea. 🌊💙 Back at work today feeling refreshed and ready for 2025. I hope everyone had a lovely festive break.

I've just finished doing my last treatments of 2024 for my lovely clients and This lovely couple are expecting their baby in the next two weeks. What a lovely way to start the NY. Charlotte had a 90 min Pregnancy Massage with Pregnancy Reflexolgy and James had his usual 90 min Therapeutic/Sports Massage.
I would like to thank all my clients for choosing me throughout 2024. I look forward to doing treatments for you in the New Year!!
