Pregnancy is a journey full of changes, and let’s be honest, it’s not always the easiest on your back or neck. As your bump grows, your posture and the way you walk can shift, often bringing its own set of aches and pains. That’s where gentle chiropractic care can make a real difference.

At Broadgate, we use special pregnancy pillows and tables with clever drop-away sections so you can lie comfortably while we work to help ease discomfort, keep you moving, and support your body as it gets ready for baby. There’s even research showing that regular chiropractic care may help shorten labour and reduce the need for pain medication. A few of our mums-to-be have said that coming in for gentle adjustments made a big difference to how they felt in those last few weeks.

Waking up grumpy and uncomfortable? Did you know, 1 in 5 adults in the UK report they aren't getting enough sleep?
And quite often, an old, tired pillow is the culprit.

We see it all the time in the clinic. Patients come in complaining of stiff necks and not getting a solid night's sleep. Depending on the symptoms and patient, we may recommend the 'Sleeprrr Pillow'. It is regarded as the perfect memory foam cervical neck support pillow. It's adjustable in height and firmness and made it the UK.

It's our 25th birthday!

Broadgate was born in 2000 and started with Chris and Simon above a Doctor's surgery in Horsforth. Niko followed not long afterwards, and they are all still practising at Broadgate today, along with 4 other Chiropractors to add to our wonderful Chiropractic Team.

The clinic has been led for most of its life by Debbie, who has helped grow the company to what it is today, with a fantastic team at our Lister Hill clinic. Our clinic wouldn't be what it is without our team; we are so very grateful for them. We think they enjoy working for us, too! Nagging pain down your leg? It could be sciatica. It’s so tempting to just flop onto the sofa (or reach for painkillers), but did you know staying still for too long can actually slow your recovery?

At Broadgate, we look beyond the symptoms; we aim to find and fix what’s putting pressure on your nerve in the first place. Less covering up, more getting you moving comfortably again.

We’ve seen people get back to gardening, long walks, and even dancing in the kitchen..little wins that make a big difference!
