Although we might be seeing more wellbeing support offered in companies, it may not actually be making a difference. According to a report from , companies are paying more attention to employees’ , but there’s no evidence showing workers are actually gaining help from them as expected. “Many employees and leaders still believe that experiencing mental health challenges and performing successfully at work are at odds with each other,” says , founder and CEO of .

However, this can be changed. Companies need to address both the gaps in mental health knowledge and the fears related to having mental health issues. “It’s about on-going communication, training, organisational practices that help people feel safe and believe they will not be penalised or isolated for ups, downs or even significant issues with their mental health,” says Paul Allen, Global Leader and Senior Vice-president of Research and Total Wellbeing at .

For workplace mental health, Chakra is the one you can turn to for help. We were founded in response to the experience and observation of high work stress levels in corporate working environments. We offer training courses for early interventions before the issues manifest into more serious and costly mental health problems. With the 2022 World Su***de Prevention Day approaching, the three fathers who completed an incredible walk last year are going to take a new challenge this month. Starting from 9 Sept, they plan to walk from Holyrood to Westminster, which is going to take approximately a month. This is such promising news since they are making great efforts to raise and of ***deprevention again, letting more people get help.

, and are three fathers who sadly lost their daughters to su***de. After going through such a heartbreaking moment, they decided to do something for more young people suffering from mental stress. They spent 15 days walking between their homes in Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Norfolk to raise money for su***de prevention in 2021. “We are thinking about our girls, we are thinking about everyone else’s kids as well,” said Mike Palmer. Having the loved ones in mind, the three Dads were saving more . They felt very grateful to be supported by so many people along the way, and they hoped what they did can help raise more money and awareness of the help out there for people contemplating su***de.

***de is a big issue. More than 700 000 people die due to su***de every year, and it’s the fourth leading cause of death among young people aged 15-19. There needs to be more awareness and support from people like you and me. Please ! For more information about the 2022 route or donation please visit https://www.3dadswalking.uk
