🚫 Late arrivals over 15 minutes = no treatment
🚫 Last-minute cancellations = deposit lost
🚫 Aggressive behaviour = blocked.

At Dragonfly Skin Spa, we hold ourselves to the highest standards — not just in the treatments we offer, but in how we deliver them.

💅 Long nails may look glamorous, but they have no place in professional massage or facial work. Why?

✨ Massage: Deep tissue or targeted therapeutic techniques can’t be performed properly with long nails. Pressure is uneven, certain grips are limited, and there’s a constant risk of scratching the client. That’s not just uncomfortable — it’s a compromise in quality.

✨ Facials: Skin requires precision, control, and hygiene. Long nails can harbor bacteria, limit your ability to apply consistent manual pressure, and increase the risk of accidental skin damage.

🧴 In both cases, wearing long nails can turn a luxury treatment into a doubtful experience. That’s simply not acceptable at our spa.

Jonathan holds a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking from Leeds Beckett University and brings a calm, creative presence to the spa. When he’s not keeping things running smoothly here, you’ll likely find him immersed in music production, film & media projects, or diving into the world of IT.

SERVICE UPDATE 🌿

We’re closed for treatments today due to ongoing loud construction next door 😔

Yesterday, the noise levels were so high that we couldn’t carry out our services properly — all our float and massage rooms were affected and it simply wasn’t the peaceful experience our clients deserve 💆‍♀️💦

From what we can see, major works are continuing today, so we’ve made the decision to pause all treatments again.

✨ Reception will be open today from 1–3pm for any enquiries or rescheduling

We’re planning to reopen Friday from 12:30pm, and will keep you updated if anything changes 🍃
