Have you ever wondered what the inside of an ear looks like? 👂👂

Well this is mine (without the wax of course!) taken with a video otoscope. You can clearly see the ear drum or the tympanic membrane if using the official term.

You will see the inside of your ears at each appointment with me so you can see exactly what is going on (wax or not)

The production of wax is completely normal and wax actually serves as a natural barrier to help protect our ears by trapping dust, debris and bacteria.

When the wax builds up excessively, it can cause a wide range of symptoms however, and it may need to be removed.

If you feel you are experiencing any of the below symptoms in the ears , it may be time for a professional to check for an excisssive build of of wax.
