The Power of Touch

This morning, a client broke down in tears as I began her massage. Gently, she confided in me that she hadn’t been touched in over a year — not since her husband passed away. Her grief was palpable, etched into her face and held deep within her body.

As the treatment continued, I felt a shift. Her body softened, became heavier, surrendered. The tears eventually gave way to stillness, then calm.

By the end of the session, she looked up at me and smiled — a radiant, youthful, vibrant smile. The transformation was profound. She stood taller, her energy renewed. Before leaving, she told me she felt like a new woman, ready to face life again. And with her head held high, she walked off down the street with a newfound sense of purpose.
