A chance to forage, slow down, make something with my hands and end up with a final piece I genuinely adore. ☺️

As I pull all the final bits together for the Reconnect, Rest & Rewild retreat in Kenya next month, it was a delight to spend a couple of hours yesterday being gently nudged out of my head and into creativity. A bit like yoga, but with flowers and glue! ✨ 
holisticart has created these Seasonal Shoeboxes as a more accessible way to experience art and mental health support – whether you’re a busy adult craving some quiet creative time, or a family wanting something meaningful (and affordable) for the school holidays. Children can even follow the videos independently, pausing and replaying as they go.

Everything you need arrives in one beautifully thought-out box (no scrambling for supplies 🙌), and the video workshop via QR code are really easy-to-follow.

I love my new yoga shorts! ✨ And I'm feeling one step closer to being Kenya Yoga Retreat ready! 🇰🇪

Thank you for crafting these fabulous ethical and sustainable Pune Type Yoga Shorts. 🩳

You can really feel the love and care that’s gone into them when you wear them. 💖 I adore the softness, the natural feel of the fabric, and the way they’re loose enough to move freely and comfortably, yet the gentle elastic around the legs keeps everything feeling secure with no risk of exposure (even in the deepest warrior II or forward fold!). 🤸‍♀️

Wearing them, I can almost feel the warmth of February’s Reconnect, Rest & Rewild Yoga Retreat in Kenya at the gorgeous 🧘 A week of wide African skies, slow mornings, deep nourishing practice and being completely held by nature, sunshine and spaciousness (plus so much more). ☀️
