Come and join us at at All Hallows church on Wednesday May 1st at 6pm for a sound and energy healing ceremony to celebrate Beltane. In the Shamanic calendar Beltane marks the half way point between spring equinox and summer solstice and was celebrated for thousands of years by the ancient Celts. Even with the driving out of pagan traditions the date is still recognised and celebrated internationally as May Day and Worker's day.
For the Celts Beltane marked the beginning of summer, a time of optimism, renewal and fertility, and also a time when the veil between this world and the next is at it's thinnest, making it the perfect time to connect with guides, set intentions, and release what no longer serves us.
We will be drinking ceremonial cacao and have medicine songs, a drum circle, mantra chanting, reiki healing, meditation and a sound bath of gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, handpan and percussion to create beautiful sounds with frequencies that resonate in harmony with the body's energy centres, unblocking stuck emotions and bringing physical and mental benefits. I am blessed again to have some amazing practitioners joining me, Simone Kelly Roe from Pockets of happiness will be grounding us with mindful meditation and Leo from Soul wellness hub bringing their beautiful icaros and medicine music for the ceremony.
Tickets are £22 or £11 for low waged and Hyde Park residents..if you want cacao please buy your ticket online so we know numbers, or if you want to pay cash on the door come early..if you are called but can't afford this send me a message. Please arrive on time and bring what you need to keep you comfortable like cushions and blankets. Any instruments and drums are welcome but we will have plenty there for you to use.
