As I celebrate with my family today I remember all those that are not present here with us as well as cherish those that are .
Life is to be cherished and never to be taken for granted...money and status is not that gives us happiness truly it is the real gift of loved ones in our lives that makes us completely whole and appreciate what it is to have joyful memories and the ability to make those memories.

My thoughts also on this special and spiritual day goes to origin of Eid ul Adha for when prophet ibrahim was asked to sacrifice what is most beloved and precious to him in the name of Allah swt and he asked his son Ismael after telling him what Allah had asked ...for Ismael to tell his father that I trust in you my father the prophet to do so as Allah has asked...as I trust in only goodness of Allah also from this.
The courage the tremendous strength it must have taken for prophet Ibrahim to walk that journey and to lay down his beloved son Ismael for sacrifice I cannot fathom. ALLAH tested n Ismael lived!
