Seacroft Green Care Home Our dedicated team provides high-quality nursing, dementia and short-term respite care. Our focus is people, everybody matters and we really care.

Offering 76 beds for nursing, intermediate and respite care alongside residential beds for working age adults who need living support, Seacroft Green Care Centre stands majestically beside the Village Green and adjacent to Seacroft Grange Care Village in the centre of this close knit community. Working closely with award winning architects and interior designers, we believe we have created a Care Centre like no other. Light positively streams in from all sides, and each of the four floors has its own unique identity. We have brought together a full complement of highly skilled healthcare professionals whose passion and commitment to the highest possible standards is evident in everything that they do. Residents, visitors, colleagues … our job is to care and that is what we do.

Sometimes comfort... does not need words 🥰

For residents at Seacroft Green Care Home , doll therapy can bring a deep sense of calm, purpose and reassurance. For those living with dementia, it can awaken gentle memories and nurture instinct.
Residents living without dementia have also enjoyed a cuddle, and even our staff couldn’t resist a moment of comfort too 💕

It’s not about play... it’s about connection, warmth and feeling safe. At Seacroft Green, we are proud to be dementia friendly and to support every resident with compassion and love.

On Thursday afternoon, residents from three of our suites came together for a lovely residents meeting with heads of departments and management.
It was fantastic to see new friendships forming while everyone shared their ideas and suggestions about their home.
We all had a hot/cold drink and biscuits after and a bit of a dance 💃

We love giving our residents the opportunity to have their voices heard and be part of shaping daily life here. ✅️

This week, residents enjoyed preparing delicious, individually baked apple crumble, following an easy to follow recipe. There was plenty of mixing, laughter and teamwork and of course, everyone enjoyed a warm serving at the end! 🥰

Today, John a resident at Seacroft Green Care Home, headed off to his son’s wedding.
A father’s proudest moment 💙

There’s nothing more meaningful than watching your child say “I do”, and we were honoured to help make sure he could be there to share it.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Clinical Lead Angela, for getting it all organised especially with all the little touches she did for John! 🥰 Thank you to our carer Beth for accompanying him and making the day extra special ✨

This afternoon, residents enjoyed water paper and oil painting inspired by fresh daffodils, while listening to beautiful opera music.
One resident even improvised by adding stems and petals to their artwork and using them as painting tools! 🌼

Last night, the Working Aged Adults (WAA) at Seacroft Green Care Home enjoyed a late-night Chinese takeaway and an evening filled with laughter! 🥰

The ambience was set just like a traditional Chinese restaurant, complete with traditional Chinese music, creating a wonderful atmosphere for everyone.

Residents shared how much fun they had and said they can’t wait for our next event! Enough Chinese food was ordered to ensure all suites enjoyed this special treat.

This morning at Seacroft Green, residents enjoyed the start of our Chinese New Year celebrations. We were delighted to welcome Katy and Hazel the miniature horse, who spent some wonderful therapeutic time with each resident.

A truly special moment was seeing a resident’s great-grandson even go for a little walk with Hazel! 🐴💛
