Seacroft Green Care Home Our dedicated team provides high-quality nursing, dementia and short-term respite care. Our focus is people, everybody matters and we really care.

Offering 76 beds for nursing, intermediate and respite care alongside residential beds for working age adults who need living support, Seacroft Green Care Centre stands majestically beside the Village Green and adjacent to Seacroft Grange Care Village in the centre of this close knit community. Working closely with award winning architects and interior designers, we believe we have created a Care Centre like no other. Light positively streams in from all sides, and each of the four floors has its own unique identity. We have brought together a full complement of highly skilled healthcare professionals whose passion and commitment to the highest possible standards is evident in everything that they do. Residents, visitors, colleagues … our job is to care and that is what we do.

🙏A Special Easter Visit from Father Pat at Seacroft Green Care Home.🙏

We were delighted to welcome Father Pat back to Seacroft Green following his pilgrimage to Lourdes, for the Easter season.

He spent time with the residents sharing prayer, blessings, and holy water from the sacred spring 💧🙏

Each resident also received a special gift, making the visit even more meaningful during this Easter season

🌷🎉 Double the celebrations at Seacroft Green Care Home 🎉🌷

It’s been a busy and very special day here as we celebrated not just one… but two amazing birthdays! 🥳

Our morning was filled with creativity as residents enjoyed 'tulip fork painting' turning simple forks into beautiful blooming masterpieces, who knew forks could make such perfect petals!

The celebrations continued into the afternoon with a game of bingo, plenty of laughter, and of course… two delicious birthday cakes!

What started as a calm afternoon of board games and jigsaws on Terrace Suite with Caroline and serious competition at the card table on Sky Suite with Sam.
Perfect timing too, as it’s National Scrabble Day.

Strategies were flying, rules were… flexible
and the pressure was definitely on!
…and Sam spent part of the afternoon as a human basketball hoop 😂⛹🏽‍♀️

Fizz Friday - Off t’pub! at Seacroft Green Care Home 🥂

Nothing better than ending the week with a little fizz! Residents enjoyed a lovely trip to the pub, sipping on fizz, sharing laughs and soaking up the Friday vibes, lots of conversations around the Grand National and 'I am Maximus' was our top 1st place! 🥰

Great company, great atmosphere and plenty of smiles all round 😄

Residents enjoyed a fun and energetic game of balloon tennis after a relaxing seated yoga session 💙
This gentle activity supports movement, hand-eye coordination and most importantly… brings everyone together for lots of laughter! 🥰

Yesterday afternoon, was one of those days that truly fills your heart

Out on the sun terrace, surrounded by warm spring sunshine, our residents spent time creating beautiful flower arrangements and crafting their own, refreshing mocktails. 🥰

But it wasn’t just about the flowers or the drinks… it was about the smiles, the laughter, the gentle conversations and the quiet moments of joy shared in the sunshine 🌷

Seeing everyone relaxed, engaged and simply happy reminds us why these moments matter so much.

Days like today stay with you! 😊

Roll Up, Roll Up… It’s Carnival Time at Seacroft Green Care Home 🎉

Yesterday, we brought the fun of the fair right into our home with a fantastic afternoon of games, laughter and antics!

From hoop toss challenges to colourful parachute fun, parachute football and our jumbo card game of 'higher or lower'.
The residents got stuck in and showed off their skills, balls everywhere and laughter all around! 🥰

Our residents truly came alive during our sensory, musical experience.

From glowing lights and rhythm sticks to inflatable guitars and flowing scarves… there was laughter, movement and so many beautiful moments of connection. Whether it was tapping along, singing into the mic, or simply feeling the music, everyone found their own way to enjoy our Friday afternoon.
Sam and Bev got a bit carried away with the air guitar 🤭 and Karen was partying like she was in Vegas! 😉

A huge thank you to ETTA (Expression Through The Arts) for coming in and giving us such a spectacular time! 🥰

🐣 Chick Watch, Our Final Day 🐣

Yesterday we said goodbye to our little fluffy friends and we won’t lie… there were a few wet eyes at reception.

From tiny, fragile eggs…
to confidently showing off their wing feathers and gliding at every given opportunity.

They’ve brought so much joy, comfort and conversation to our home, moments that truly mean everything 🥰

But we’re so happy to see them moving on to their next adventure on a free-range farm.

Goodbye little ones… thank you for the memories 💛
