When cancer impacted a member of our own team, we wanted to show our support by raising funds for Maggie's Centres (Yorkshire).

This summer, our team at Birstall will be taking on a 195-mile cycle challenge, riding over three days, starting on 13th July.

Day 1: Crossroads Boroughbridge → Crossroads Hull
Day 2: Crossroads Hull → Crossroads Scunthorpe → Crossroads Rotherham
Day 3: Crossroads Rotherham → Crossroads Birstall

The challenge will see the team face demanding distances, tough terrain, and long days in the saddle - all in support of the incredible work Maggie’s does for people living with cancer.

It was an absolute pleasure to hand over this stunning new FH13 500 Aero Lite weight 6x2 tractor unit to Brigg‑based Aghaul Ltd.

We’re proud to welcome the latest additions to the Wordsworth Excavations Ltd fleet.

These Volvo FH 13 units are powered by a 500hp Turbo Compound engine and are equipped with Volvo engine brake, fuel package, Drive Extended, sleep and resting package, DuraBrights, and load indicator. Each vehicle is finished in Wordsworth’s striking livery.

These additions strengthen Wordsworth capability across all projects while ensuring that they maintain the highest standards in compliance, safety, and sustainability.
