Our lovely Care Assistant Swathy has many talents, not only is she driven to deliver person-centred care; she is an Ayurvedic Practitioner. Oh, and she is a qualified Doctor too! Swathy will be delivering weekly Yogatherapy sessions in the top lounge; and she would love to see you there!
What do these sessions entail? Pranayama refers to breathing practices that help you feel more balanced and present. These practices are commonly used to support stress management, anxiety, low mood, and low energy levels by calming the nervous system and improving breath awareness.
Yogatherapy involves gentle yoga postures and movements that are tailored to the individual. These postures help improve flexibility, strength, posture, and overall wellbeing, and can be adapted to suit different physical and mental health needs.
We feel more relaxed just thinking about it!
