✨ Let’s clear something up… ✨

I’ve had a few clients recently say they’ve read articles claiming RF microneedling can “melt facial fat” - and I completely understand why that feels worrying.

So I wanted to address it properly.

💉 RF microneedling is a skin treatment, not a fat-loss treatment.
When I perform RF microneedling, I’m working within the dermal layer, where we stimulate collagen and improve overall skin quality.

📍 Facial fat sits much deeper than the depth I treat.

As a trained and experienced therapist, I choose my needle depths and energy settings very carefully, based on:
• the treatment area
• your skin thickness
• facial anatomy
• what we’re actually trying to achieve

These parameters are designed to support the skin — not affect fat.

⚠️ Concerns around fat loss are usually linked to treatments carried out with:
• incorrect depths
• inappropriate settings
• a lack of anatomical understanding

This is why I always say - it’s not just about the treatment, it’s about who’s performing it.
