We’ve been keeping busy here at Meadowbrook, and it’s been wonderful to see so many smiles! Here’s a little glimpse of what we’ve been up to lately…

We’ve been enjoying our weekly chair exercise sessions with Jodie, keeping active and having fun together. There have also been some lovely trips out to local garden centres, where we’ve enjoyed fresh air, beautiful plants, and a trip to the Cafe's.

We treated ourselves to a lunch outing at the Flyline, which was a real highlight, and made the most of the sunshine with some cheerful garden games.

We have enjoyed some lovely flower donations from M&S Foodhall - The Springs Leeds and displayed these in the dining room.

We were delighted to have Mark join us for a singing session—such a fantastic atmosphere! Our pamper days have also been a hit, with everyone enjoying getting their nails done and feeling refreshed.

Back indoors, we’ve kept entertained with friendly games of bowls, bingo, and cards—plenty of laughter all around!

Yesterday’s coffee morning was a great success. Our in-house cook, Tanya, prepared a delicious selection of treats that everyone enjoyed. Thank you to everyone who came along—it was such a lovely morning. ☕️☕️

On Monday we had an excellent fitness session with Bailey. The residents really enjoyed this!

Last Monday we enjoyed a wonderful visit to Roundhay Park 🌿

We spent time walking around the park, had a lovely lunch, and finished with a coffee in the café. With the sun shining, it truly was a beautiful day!

Here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to recently at Meadowbrook 🌸

We had lots of fun decorating our Easter bonnets, getting creative with colours and designs. Rochelle joined us for a lovely singing session, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed 🎶

We were kindly donated some beautiful flowers, perfect for our relaxing flower arranging session 🌼 Jody also visited and led some fantastic chair exercises to keep us active and moving 💪

There was plenty of friendly competition during our carpet bowls games, and we even got out into the community to promote our upcoming coffee morning ☕

We’ve also enjoyed trips out to local garden centres, soaking up some fresh air 🌿

To top it all off, Trish led a wonderful reminiscence session all about babies, sparking lots of lovely memories and conversations, the residents really enjoyed this 💕

Look what we’ve been up to over the last few days!

We decorated some lovely cups with our own unique designs ☕🎨
We also enjoyed a couple of fun games of bingo, which brought plenty of laughs.

To keep us moving, we had some great exercise sessions with Jody and Tom, helping us stay active and fit 💪

We’ve also made a start on our Easter decorations and enjoyed lovely outing to our local garden centre for coffee and cake 🌸🐣

Our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Tropical World last week! 🌿🦋
They had a wonderful time exploring the different habitats, spotting colourful butterflies, and meeting some very fascinating birds! 🐦
