Another week of 1-2-1 sessions done, and lots of glorious sunshine! 🌞💪🏻

I'm absolutely loving new gate life and all the lovely flowers by the entrance 🌸 It's been so nice to make use of the outside space during training and offer that all important privacy for my clients. I cannot tell you how happy this space makes me feel. I hope my ladies feel just as happy when they're here too 🥰

To my clients that have their sessions in the afternoon, it's the perfect sun trap sat on the bench so feel free to arrive a few minutes earlier and soak up the sunshine! 😎

One year in the SCW Studio! 🎉

On 28 February 2025, I welcomed my clients to our home personal training studio. Something I didn't think would happen for a good few years due to the time, energy and investment such a big project requires. Not to mention the fear of making such a huge decision and hoping my current clients would come with me, as well as welcoming new ones 🩷

My job as a personal trainer is a dream come true. I love the space I've created for my clients and am so grateful to every single person that has stepped foot in the studio so far. You are all wonderful and a joy to train, particularly on the days when life feels tough - you honestly give me life and put the biggest smile on my face, knowing I'm doing something I truly love.

Here's to 2026 and many more years of loving studio life! ✨💪🏻

*Naturally I chose the most enjoyable (and messiest) way to celebrate 🎊 The clean up was actually pretty quick thank goodness 😅

With all sessions complete for 2025, it seems the right time to look at the year as a whole and make note of all the memories, progress and positivity that have taken place 🩷

By far the biggest highlight was the launch of the SCW Studio. Something I didn't see on the cards for at least five years, but we made it happen and I've never looked back. I get to train my wonderful clients from home and have that work life balance with my family. That's totally worth the five year loan 😂💪🏼

2025 was also the first full year of Lift & Thrive, two running races after only being consistent with training from June, gorgeous holidays with my sister & family, lots of walking, strength training and choosing to spend my days feeling as positive & grateful as possible. Even on the days that have felt difficult 🥰

2026 is looking exciting, both personally and for PT 💪🏼 Thank you to everyone that has made this year so memorable!

Personal Training Gift Vouchers 💪🏻✨

Snow has fallen in Leeds and it's freezing, so today marks the official countdown to Christmas in the SCW Studio! A gift voucher for a 1-2-1 personal training session can make an excellent Christmas gift for a loved one. Or perhaps the person reading this would like to send a hint to their partner, friend etc. 🤔

All vouchers are £50 per session (one hour) and include a pre session consultation call, the session itself in a private fully equipped studio and follow up support to ensure they have professional advice and knowledge to strength train independently with confidence.

One whole year of Lift & Thrive! 💪🏻

I'm so unbelievably grateful to everyone that has joined L&T since October 2024, I have genuinely loved every single class and am so proud of you all 🩷

Thank you for being the best group of ladies, pushing through those tricep dips and endless squats, putting up with my song skipping and my dodgy dance moves! 💃🏻

Here's to many more L&T evenings! Huge thanks as always to for providing the perfect strength training studio space ✨🙌🏻

My little happy place getting a full deep clean after another busy week ✨

The SCW Studio brings me so much joy every single day. My mission when becoming a Personal Trainer and building the studio was to provide a safe, knowledgeable and rewarding space for women to lift weights with confidence, feel strong and immensely proud of what their bodies and mind can achieve 💪🏻

Whether you train with me for weeks, months or years you'll always be made to feel incredibly welcome. I might even make you a coffee 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

Straight Leg Deadlift and Romanian Deadlift, do you know the difference?

1) Straight Leg DL - Primary muscle under tension - Hamstrings. Hinge at the hips whilst moving the weight down your legs (the closer the better!). Maintain a neutral spine, keep your knees soft and your legs straight.

2) Romanian DL - Primary muscle under tension - Glutes. Hinge at the hips, pushing your glutes back (imagine closing a door with your bum!). Maintain a neutral spine, legs bent.

Both exercises can be a hard one to master but keep practicing and try using alternative equipment to help with your technique (dumbbells, kettlebells or a barbell) 💪🏻

A beautiful sunrise run to start the day 🌄

Since 2023, my sister and I have enjoyed an annual girls holiday together. 2023 was the year of hill sprints, last year we got the steps in and this year we've combined our love for running 🏃🏻‍♀️

After a hectic few months, this holiday is very much welcomed. A few days of sunshine, laughs, sangria and being mindful ✨

"Can we train in the studio mummy" 🥹

I've noticed a huge change in Mabel's behaviour towards exercise since we've had the home studio. She's always been a very active little girl; but knowing she's genuinely interested in fitness both personally and when training my clients is so lovely to witness ✨

"Mummy, my muscles are getting big and strong just like yours and daddy's"

"Watch how much I can lift mummy"

Turns out Mabel has even taken note of my PT uniform now too, I didn't realise we were wearing pretty much the same outfit until I took the photo at the end 😂

Six months of Lift & Thrive! 💪🏼

Thank you so much to everyone that has joined L&T so far, I'm so grateful to you all 🩷 I feel so passionate about creating a fun and uplifting environment, so that women (and men!) can learn the technique and skills to strength train with confidence.
