Me and my best friend walked 41km (26 miles) yesterday for Alzheimer’s Society. We spoke about resilience and I think I’ve built my resilience this weekend (physically and mentally) a little bit more.

When you push through something hard — a long walk, a tough workout, anything that tests you — you train your body and mind to tolerate discomfort and recover. You’re proving to yourself that you can do hard things and be okay afterwards.

Physically, your body adapts and becomes stronger. Mentally, you build self-belief and provide your brain with evidence that challenges pass and you can handle them.

You can do hard things, get through challenges, and be okay on the other side.

Now, if anyone has any advice for swollen feet covered in blisters, I’d happily listen! 🙄

Hi everyone

I’ve been working hard growing my business locally and supporting people in person, but I thought it was time to reintroduce myself here and share a bit more about what I do.

Firstly, I’m a primary school teacher — a job I love and have done for years.

Secondly, I’m a trained divorce coach and I work with individuals at any stage of the divorce process.

A divorce coach doesn’t encourage divorce — we support you through it. Whether you’re thinking about it, in the thick of it, or figuring out life after it, I offer practical tools, emotional support, and coaching that help you move forward with strength and clarity.

So, why hire a divorce coach?

✨Dealing with emotions when making big decisions –divorce can be overwhelming. A coach helps you step back, think clearly, and make informed choices that are right for you (often saving you time and money with solicitors).

✨Practical tools when facing so much change – from preparing for difficult conversations to planning finances or parenting arrangements, I help you feel prepared and more in control.

✨Emotional resilience and support – friends and family can love you but not always give you the advice you need (not always want). I offer unbiased support that keeps you grounded, focused, and able to move forward with confidence.

If you want to have a free (no obligations) chat about how I can help you, send me a message using this link and I’ll book it in.

Katy ❤️

This week’s one thing:

Let go of one thing this week — a photo, a gift, a drawer full of memories — something that keeps you in the past. It might even be an activity, a friend (you know the one).
Why? Because letting go of physical clutter creates emotional space. Future you deserves that fresh start.

Don’t get out off by the photo, one thing will do. It means you’re one thing closer to moving on than yesterday.

We do a last minute adventure well! Not one to miss out on good weather. By 9am I had decided that we were having lunch by the river, on paddle boards with the hammock!

This Week’s One Thing:

✨Set One Boundary That Protects Your Peace✨

When you’re healing from divorce and thinking about dating again, boundaries are your so important.

This week, choose one small boundary to honour — maybe it’s not replying to texts after 9pm, saying no to a family drama call, or giving yourself permission to leave early from something that exhausts you.

Why? Because the way you respect your own boundaries now sets the standard for any future relationship.

Want daily nudges to help you develop and demonstrate this over the next week? Then join the group Your Divorce Support Circle now.

See you there.
