In the month of hibernation, I may not have been present on here but hey I’ve not been hibernating I’ve just been doing life ❤️

I’m busy busy busy but instead of scrolling free time has been used well

Crafting
Visiting the medicine room exciting
Walks with my love for his birthday
Finding a witch in the melting ice
Buying new plants because hey when is enough enough ?
Searching for snow and sunsets with my boy
Painting
Sorting out the shop at the studio

Misty walks and nature’s illumination
Working in the studio
Late into the night
Eating crumpets
More painting
Eating pickled onion monster munch
Making drum be**er heads and chucking them amongst the chaotic creation station
Some eyebrow dye on there because hey if you can multi task get on with it
Bringing roses into the home
And spring blooms………………yes that’s a poinsettia behind the tulips

And let’s say I didn’t feel blue on blue Monday so

Beautiful new Shamanic drum, of Horse hide and Rosewood, she birthed quickly and is drying nicely, preparing to sing 😌

If you are interested in birthing a drum I have a few group places left for May (Goat) and July(stag).

Additionally I have a few dates for 1:1 drum birthing and shamanic healing half days, where you have my full attention and guidance throughout. Choose from Horse, Goat or to***co dyed Deer hide (you can see the colour of this one on my previous post).

Last Day holding space for others before I step into holding space for myself, and what a way to end this year

It’s been a dark little cacoon today.
Most of my clients who see me for Art Psychotherapy opted for a meditation, energy healing, or a shamanic healing for their last session before Christmas.

I love exploring and combining modalities to meet your needs and will be offering more of these containers in Jan for existing and new clients.

It’s not a menu tick list more of a journey we create together I have a couple of spaces available
Wednesday evenings
Friday mornings

Some weekly fortnightly or once a month depending what you need and how you want it to look

How are you doing ?

I feel rung out and tired, and that’s ok.
I feel full of ideas waiting to be birthed, and that’s ok.
I feel raw and vulnerable, and that’s ok.
I feel grounded and myself, and that’s ok.
I feel sadness and loss, and that’s ok.
I feel hyper and want to jump around, and that’s ok.
I feel rage and agitation, and that’s ok.
I am settled in one project, and that’s ok.
I feel frustration at the many unfinished projects, and that’s ok.
I am excited to spend time with family, and that’s ok.
I am dreading spending time with family, and that’s ok.

It’s is not always ok, and that’s ok.

It’s winter and the only way I can be, and that’s ok.

Dare I say it, yes I dare

2026 there I did it 😂 got a lot more exciting for studio 6.

Here is one of the many new ceremonies emerging as we change and grow.

There will be 4 group opportunities and individual private sessions called Hide to Heartbeat.

So what is it? Well depending on whether you prefer visuals or words I think you will have got the gist.

Hide to Heartbeat: Drum Birthing Journey Studio 6, Leeds

Birth, weave, make your own sacred drum in a day of creation, cacao, connection and shamanic journey.

The first will be on 24th January 10-7pm.

In this session your drum will be red stag hide and a rosewood hoop.

You will also receive a 7 day guide of daily prompts as your drum dries finds their voice and begins to sing, deepening your bond and finding your rhythm together.

Was having a little tidy up yesterday and had this visual reminder of the amount of work produced in Art Therapy in the last three weeks.

This precious cargo contains deep feelings, private shares and realisations, pain, rage, joy, relief and release and so much more.

A beautiful reminder of the power of , it will stay with me until my clients are ready to receive their artworks . This involves in-depth conversations of what the artwork holds and its fate, to be kept for a while, placed in a sacred bonfire or used for reflection and integration. Art therapy is so much more than painting a picture, its raw and honest and can be life changing.

The only way is your way 🥰
