In this video, our Yin module trainer Becky dispels one of the biggest myths around Teacher Training - that you have to become a yoga teacher once you graduate. Yes, you leave with a professional qualification and the skills to teach. But that isn’t the only reason to step onto this path. For many, the journey is about deepening knowledge, expanding understanding and immersing themselves more fully in the practice they love.

If you’re feeling the call, join us for our Teacher Training Open Day on Saturday 11 April at 2pm. You’ll hear directly from Angela and the training team, learn more about the structure and vision of the course, experience a class with a Yoga Kula graduate, and have space to ask honest questions in an informal Q&A. It’s a chance to step into the studio, meet the community and sense whether this path feels aligned.

🗓 Training begins 4 September 2026
✨ Early Bird pricing available until 30 April 2026

“Best decision ever! I didn’t become a teacher but used the course to really deepen my practice.”

Joey’s teaching centres around the relationship between breath and movement. On the Ashtanga weekend, he simplifies what can often feel complex - helping trainees understand how postures relate to one another, what actions are required within each shape, and how to communicate and support students safely through verbal and physical adjustments.

Taylor shares what makes the Vinyasa weekend so special. With a full weekend dedicated to this dynamic practice, you gain hands-on tools, deeper understanding of breath-led movement, and clarity around how to build strong, creative sequences. But most importantly, she reminds trainees that teaching is not one size fits all. We all bring different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives - and the training is about helping you honour that, rather than moulding you into a template.
