Tina Lawrence Complementary Therapies

Tina Lawrence Complementary Therapies Mobile Complementary Therapist working in and around Guiseley! Shinay is a Tibetan word, translated from Sanskrit, meaning calm abiding.

I carry out various treatments for relaxation and wellbeing to all client groups including the elderly, cancer and palliative care patients, and learning disabilities! ShiNay is two words put together:
Shi is for shiwa which means peacefulness and quietness (calm). Nay is for naypa which means staying in stillness (abiding)
Being still and at peace within oneself - this is what shinay means :)
Tibetan Buddhists practice shinay meditation, which is about bringing quietness of the mind and stillness of the body together. It is during this time that a great deal of healing can take place within the mind, and therefore the body
Taking time out for yourself to be still and relaxed can help to heal the body, mind and spirit. Relax, be calm and be happy and healthy :) x
