Throwback to when Danny Bond, Leeds based DJ got in great shape in less than 90 days inside my 12 week transformation!

What you won’t know is that Danny’s ‘before’ photo was taken the day after his London marathon which he completed in the summer.

Fit enough to run a marathon, yet clearly carrying excess, unwanted body fat.

This common problem of being fit but fat leaves people scratching their head as to why they can’t get in shape, as they’re clearly hard working and cardio vascular wise have no problems.
Yet their body doesn’t reflect the hard work they’re putting in with their training.

Despite the horrific weather we are experiencing at the minute in the UK don’t forgot summer is just around the corner.

Usually with warmer weather, this can only mean 2 things;

• More social occasions 🍹🌭
• Less clothing 💪🏻👙

So anyone with some common sense would think they really want to be looking great. For 2 reasons.

1) you’d feel much more confident walking round in a sweaty climate in skimpy clothing.

2) if you lost a few lbs you’d buy yourself some wriggle room for any potential lbs you might gain over the summer.

It takes up to 12 week or sometimes 24 weeks to get in amazing shape inside my 12 Week Transformation.

12 weeks from now takes us to the middle of May. Slap bang in the middle of summer!

Don’t be that fool who puts it off and then panic diets 1 week before the nice weather forecast hits.

Plan ahead, start now, and get in shape sensibly and realistically so you can enjoy your summer feeling healthy, fit and confident. 🙌🏻

making great progress inside the online 12 week transformation coaching group.

Inside phase 2 of the 12 week transformation Sarah is learning how to get to that next level of lower body fat whilst maintaining, if not improving, her strength and working towards her reverse diet 🔥💪🏻

Already very active with rock climbing and cross fit along with a highly nutritious diet, sarah still struggled to get that athletic physique… until now.

Correct nutrition holds the 🔑 to that toned body most people are trying to achieve.

Body fat considerably reduced ✅
Strength increased ✅

Poor upbringing?
It’s not your fault.

Covid?
It’s not your fault.

Difficult boss?
It’s not your fault.

Born with a poor genetics?
It’s not your fault.

Grown apart from a loved one?
It’s not your fault.

I could do on..
Lots of things aren’t our fault. And many of them may seem unfair.

But we still have a responsibility to step up and put it right.

Don’t sit back and think “what’s the point” or just carry on crying the poor tale.

Step up, accept the adversity and plan how you can overcome it, or at least make the best of a bad situation.

Life is short. Use your time wisely ✌🏻

Guys come to me on a weekly basis feeling frustrated after years of trying to get in shape with no major progress.

They’ve seen the 12 Week Transformation results and admit my clients make more progress in 12 weeks than they have in 12 months!

The problem most guys face is when they’re stuck between goals and try and do 2 things at once. 🐰🐰

Bulking whilst cutting
Or
Cutting whilst bulking

Attempting a bulk, only to feel fat, to quickly go in to a cut, only to feel skinny, to then switch back to a bulk… all within a matter of weeks.

They end up in no mans land with nothing to show for it.

Lads, pick 1 goal and do it properly.

If you’re cutting you’ve probably got a good 15kg to lose (the average weight loss inside my 12 wk programme) and you need to give it at least 6 weeks before you even start to notice obvious changes.
12 weeks is a good length of time for a cut so be patient.

If you’re bulking you need to accept this will take a long time and you will go a bit fluffy around the edges.
The trick is to bulk with quality weight and not pile on tonnes of unwanted fat!

I’m still taking guys on for my February intake if you are interested in getting in shape for the summer.

12 weeks from now takes us up to the end of May 🌞💪🏻

A bit like the personal trainers I see popping up all over social media making out they have a millionaire lifestyle and a business to match…… without any real proof that they can actually do what they claim to do. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Personal trainers. Please stop;

• Telling us how amazing your week has been.
Do potential clients actually care about ‘Bob, who lost an amazing 3 stone’ inside your VIP coaching system? Where’s the photo proof??

• Ripping off other people’s style.
Be original and come up with your own content.

• Posting lion pictures.
Or any other motivational stock image about you ‘grinding’ or acting super human because you’ve just done a 5am fasted cardio workout. (Why are you even training fasted!?)

• Before and Before photos.
Most of the transformation photos I see posted from ‘fat loss experts’ are just confusing. Which is the before?? Which is the after????

• Over charging / Under delivering.
You should be having your hand snapped off by paying customers who are amazed by your results and think your price is reasonable. Not having to stiff arm a sale and then deal with refunds 2 weeks later.

This is my issue with the industry.
And this is why I’ve developed 2 systems to help both clients and personal trainers do better.

Exercising for fat loss and training for performance are 2 completely different things.

Usually, when exercising for fat loss, the exercise itself is a chore for most.

They obsess about the scales as THE only metric that measures progress and they get very frustrated along the way due to fluctuations on the scales and a busy social life making it feel like a never ending journey to lose a few lbs.

Where as if we focus more on performance;

Getting stronger
Improving fitness
Becoming more mobile / agile
Developing explosive power

As a default, our body composition (less fat : more muscle) will improve due to the improved lifestyle and nutrition we need to lead to benefit our performance goals.

If you look at a top athlete do you think they stress over the scales every day to stay in peak physical shape? Or just train hard and respect their bodies?

Performance training gives us multiple metrics to track progress as well as looking better too.

So next time you walk in the gym, don’t see it as a chance to burn calories and rush your session to get it over and done with.
Think of it as a chance to work on a performance metric and go in their with a plan of attack.

If you don’t know what to work on for performance, pick a goal or an event to work towards.
