🎮 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌 / Get Together Through Gaming for 🎮

I am participating in this years Get Together Through Gaming event with as well a load of other people to raise money for Mental Health Services. I’ll be streaming it on twitch.tv/farrerart

As someone who does suffer with my own troubles with Mental Health from time to time It very much hits close to home and to be able to part of something like this is amazing so any help you can would be amazing but you know there is never any pressure just being there in the stream when you can always helps.

I will put a link in my bio to my donation page if you spare a little money. All of the proceeds of the stream will go to the charity.

So the plan for Saturday is go to be a great bit of fun!

I will be doing runs in HADES but you will be able to control how those runs goes!
Fancy giving me more health? great! Feel like i am doing to well, why not a load more enemies!
It will be a good bit of fun for sure!

I think many of you know the fabricated story of Slenderman but by no means is it not creepy. Loved working with all the Reds, Black and Whites for this. I loved have all the eyes in his “ suit “ was fun to do!

“ He is described as wearing a black suit strikingly similar to the visage of the notorious Men In Black, and as the name suggests, appears very thin and able to stretch his limbs and torso to inhuman lengths in order to induce fear and ensnare his prey. Once his arms are outstretched, his victims are put into something of a hypnotized state, where they are utterly helpless to stop themselves from walking into them. “

I loved this piece. I had an idea for this piece pretty early on with the judged souls floating behind Charon. There are some little easter eggs in this one too 😉

In payment he received the coin that was placed in the mouth of the co**se. In art, where he was first depicted in an Attic vase dating from about 500 BCE, Charon was represented as a morose and grisly old man. “

It has been a while since i looked at this piece but i am still really happy with the lighting, colours levels on contrast. Gooey dog beats was fun.

I wanted the Blue and Golds to reflect against Ma’ At colours but really pushing the skin tones with deep purple’s and blues.

“ Anubis was a jackal-headed deity who presided over the embalming process and accompanied dead kings in the afterworld. When kings were being judged by Osiris, Anubis placed their hearts on one side of a scale and a feather (representing Maat) on the other. “

The glowing crystal heart and feather was a take that i went with instead of a bit more gruesome and realistic. Felt like it stood against the background and figure too.

This was done in celebration of Tartarus 1st birthday! It was an insanely high octane beer!

“ In ancient Arabic mythology, the Roc or Rukh was an enormous bird of prey reportedly large enough to carry off and eat full grown elephants. “

Was really wanting to get the depth and size of the Roc for this! The pink clouds against the dark reddish browns of the main figure felt like it worked well.

Lots big bold Orange, Gold, Yellow and Blues for this Egyptian goddess! Really loves this one.

“ Maat was the goddess of harmony, justice, and truth represented as a young woman. Sometimes she is depicted with wings on each arm or as a woman with an ostrich feather on her head.. “

The feathers definitely took a fair bit of time but it was worth for the overall look of the design!

All the beautiful pinks and oranges for this one. All little flares on the fire was so much fun to do.

“ The qilin ([tɕʰǐ.lǐn]; Chinese: 麒麟) is a legendary hooved chimerical creature that appears in Chinese mythology, and is said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler. Qilin are a specific type of the lin mythological family of one-horned beasts.. “

The Qilin was something i was u familiar with ( like many of the myths and legends ) but i know what i had in mind for this after seeing reference.

Doing all of the scales, strands of hair, and the flecks of heat of coming the flames.

I am really happy with with just how the colours all work together.
