TODAYS BEFORE & AFTER FOOT CARE RESULTS 👣

Today’s transformation shows just how much difference proper foot care can make in a single treatment.

Before
The skin was heavily built up with dry, compacted hard skin across the heels and forefoot.
This can feel rough, uncomfortable and sometimes lead to cracking if left untreated.

After
The hard skin has been safely reduced and the skin left smooth, flexible and healthier.
Pressure is now distributed more evenly, helping improve comfort when walking.

📸 The first two photos show the left foot
📸 The remaining photos show the right foot

Regular maintenance prevents pain, reduces the risk of splits, and keeps feet comfortable day to day.

If your feet are starting to feel rough or sore, it’s usually a sign they need attention rather than more padding or thicker socks.

Message me to book an appointment and keep your feet happy and healthy.

🦶 Fun Foot Fact Saturday Game

Here’s a little brain-and-feet challenge for your weekend.

Give this a try while you’re sitting down:
1. Lift your right foot off the floor and slowly move it in clockwise circles.
2. Once you have a steady rhythm, use your right hand to draw the number “6” in the air.

Most people find their foot suddenly changes direction without them meaning it to. Your brain is trying to do two things at once, and it gets a bit muddled.

There is no trick and no right or wrong result. It is just a fun way to see how your brain and body work together.

Have a go, then tell me in the comments:
👉 Did your foot keep going the same way, or did it change direction?

Tag a friend and challenge them to try it too. 👣

⏰ A little note about appointment times

When you book a visit with me, your time slot is always treated as important, and I plan my day very carefully around it.

However, because I am a mobile foot health practitioner, my “office” is the road. That means traffic, roadworks, parking, and sometimes even a chatty sat-nav can occasionally play tricks on me.

For that reason, I may arrive up to 30 minutes before or after your booked time. Most of the time, I am actually early, as I always build in extra travel time to avoid being late.

If I am running far behind schedule, I will always message you so you know what to expect.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility, it really does make a difference and helps me provide the best care possible.

And if I arrive early, just think of it as a bonus surprise visit rather than a knock at the door out of the blue. 🦶💙

How’s your weekend going. I hope you have some sunshine where ever you are!

My Saturday morning, done right ☺️

While most people are enjoying a slow start to the weekend, part of my day off has been spent getting organised for the week ahead. All instruments have been carefully cleaned, sterilised, and prepared, ready to ensure every client appointment is carried out safely and to the highest standard.

It is not the most glamorous part of the job, but it is one of the most important. Behind every appointment is a process that takes time, care, and attention to detail, and it is something I never cut corners on.

With everything prepped and ready, the rest of the morning was spent enjoying some downtime. A visit to my mum in my home village of Osbaldwick, with my dog by my side, was the perfect way to switch off and recharge before a busy week ahead.

A good balance of work, care, and a little bit of fresh air 🐾

A post not about the usual feet!
A lovely surprise in bloom 🌷
This flower has just opened from a bulb a client kindly gave me at Christmas. It’s been really nice watching it grow, and it’s added a bit of cheer to the room this week. Sometimes it’s the small things that make all the difference.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

Back to work on Monday… and it’s a busy one! 👣✨

The diary is looking very full, and it is shaping up to be a slightly crazy first week back. Before I officially get started though, there is one very important job to be done. Of course it’s family feet ! And I’m actually chomping at the bit to get my nippers out! 🦶

Here’s a few before and after photos as it is always nice to show the difference that good foot care can make.

Looking forward to seeing my lovely regulars and welcoming some new faces too. Here’s to a busy but happy week ahead.

✨ Happy New Year ✨

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all my lovely clients. I am so grateful to be able to visit such wonderful returning clients and I am really looking forward to welcoming new clients this year too.

I am currently on a short break and will be back working from the 12th, spending the next few days enjoying a slower pace of life and plenty of dog walks before getting back to full steam.

If you have been happy with your treatment, I would be extremely grateful if you could leave a review. Reviews really help others find me and support my small business more than you may realise. 💕💕💕💕💕

As the Christmas season arrives, I would like to take a moment to wish all of my wonderful clients and followers a very happy Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year from the soles of my feet to yours.

Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. It has been genuinely appreciated, and it has been a real pleasure helping to keep you comfortable, mobile, and on your feet.

I will now be putting my feet up for a short Christmas break and will be back to business as usual from 12 January.

Until then, enjoy a well earned rest, plenty of treats, and a Christmas full of happy steps. I look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Today I visited a lovely lady who had several verrucas that had built up a thick layer of hard skin. Although I don’t treat verrucas themselves, I can safely reduce the hard, compacted skin around them. This makes any medical treatment she chooses to use far more effective.

In the before-and-after picture you can see the difference. I carefully removed the overlying callus, cleaned the area, and exposed the verruca cores so they’re no longer buried under thick skin. This means that any creams, gels, or treatments prescribed by her GP or pharmacist will be able to work much more efficiently.

If you’re in a similar position, experiencing discomfort or finding that over-the-counter products aren’t working, sometimes reducing the hard skin first can make all the difference. Feel free to get in touch if you need help with this.

Colds and Bugs 😷😷😷😷😷🤒

If you’re feeling under the weather with a cold or a bug, please don’t hesitate to cancel your appointment. Many of my clients are elderly, vulnerable, or currently undergoing chemo, so a bit of extra care really does make a difference.

If you are unwell, I’d be grateful if you could cancel your appointment — ideally with a little notice where possible. Your consideration helps keep everyone safe and well.

Thank you so much for your understanding.
