✨ Transformation time ✨

This lovely lady came to me with very overgrown toenails and a corn/callus. After careful treatment, her feet were left feeling lighter, more comfortable, and much easier to manage.

Regular foot care makes such a difference – not only in appearance, but also in comfort and mobility. If you or someone you know is struggling with thickened nails, corns, or callus build-up, don’t put up with the pain – book in for a professional treatment and give your feet the care they deserve. 👣

📅 Appointments available – message me to arrange.

✨ What happens at a routine foot health appointment? ✨

Many people aren’t sure what to expect, so here’s a little walk-through of what I do:

👣 Step 1 – Fresh and clean
I start by spraying your feet with Clinisept. This special spray keeps your feet clean and protected during treatment. It kills harmful germs but is very gentle, so it won’t sting or irritate the skin. Because it’s so safe, I can even use it on small cuts or sore areas. It helps reduce the risk of infection and supports healing after your appointment.

👣 Step 2 – Checking and treating
I check your feet for corns, callus, or any other issues that might be causing discomfort. If needed, I remove them carefully using a blade, a sanding cap, or sometimes both.

👣 Step 3 – Nails
Your toenails are trimmed and filed, making sure there are no sharp edges to catch on socks or cause problems.

👣 Step 4 – The best bit
To finish, I rub in a soothing foot cream, leaving your feet feeling soft, refreshed, and cared for.

A routine appointment is all about keeping your feet healthy, comfortable, and happy! 🌿

I’m having the loveliest time in the Cotswolds with my mum and dog right now – it’s just beautiful here! 🌸

September is so busy that my one and only Saturday I work each month is already fully booked. So, I’ve decided to open up a whole weekend of appointments instead.

That means I’ll be working Sunday 28th September, and I’ve got a few slots left. If you’d like one, be quick – they won’t hang around for long! These are at £40

If that date doesn’t work, don’t worry – I’ll have more spaces from mid-October.

🦶 Why Washing Your Feet Matters – Especially as We Age

It’s easy to forget that our feet need daily care , they’re often hidden away in socks and shoes, quietly supporting us all day. But washing your feet properly is one of the simplest ways to keep them healthy and comfortable.

For older adults, foot hygiene is even more important. Here’s why:
• Reduced flexibility can make it harder to reach the feet, so washing may not be as thorough.
• Poor circulation can slow healing if infections develop.
• Dry skin becomes more common with age, making feet more prone to cracks where bacteria can enter.
• Medical conditions such as diabetes increase the risk of foot problems.

Tips for safe and effective foot washing:
1. Use warm (not hot) water to avoid drying out the skin.
2. Wash gently with mild soap, paying attention to the spaces between toes.
3. Dry thoroughly, especially between the toes, to prevent fungal infections.
4. Moisturise after washing, but avoid the area between the toes.
5. If bending is difficult, consider using a long-handled sponge or ask for help.

🌸 A little daily attention can go a long way in preventing discomfort, infections, and other foot issues. Your feet carry you through life, treat them with care!

If you or someone you know is struggling with their foot care maybe it’s time to get in touch. 🦶🦶🦶
