Please give a warm welcome to Dr Emelia Joyner, who has joined the Indigo Dental family!

Emelia qualified as a Dentist from the University of Sheffield in 2024 with honours, having previously completed a degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in 2019.

She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in gum health and the management of periodontal disease. She especially enjoys working with children and helping nervous patients feel at ease, creating a relaxed and positive experience for everyone she treats. She is committed to further developing her skills and regularly attends courses to expand her knowledge.

Outside of work, Emelia has a love for staying active and trying new activities. Whether it’s yoga, running, salsa, line dancing, or wild swimming, she enjoys keeping busy and embracing new challenges.

Implants are most commonly used to replace single teeth or to fill a small gap where several adjacent teeth are missing.

The advantage for you is that you will regain your confidence with the smile you have always dreamed of. You will be able to eat your favourite foods without pain or discomfort and would be able to enjoy your life to the fullest. 

This patient wanted a fixed replacement for her missing tooth that she had to get extracted a couple of months prior. She is now able to smile with full confidence without having to worry about the gap in her teeth.

How do we monitor our clear aligners treatment at Indigo Dental?

In our practice, we use ClearCorrect aligners, along with Dental Monitoring, to provide a high standard of care for our patients.
We receive regular scans from our patients during their teeth straightening journey, which enables us to track planned tooth movement, as well as check oral hygiene, gum conditions, any lost engagers or issues with the aligners etc.

We are a fully digital workflow practice, and use scanning technology for planning and executing all ClearCorrect cases.
