I use Mineral Infrared Therapy alongside acupuncture to further enhance a clients treatment which ensures they receive the best possible results.

For the treatment a mineral lamp is placed either above the affected area for pain or over the stomach for other complaints and emits a lovely soothing heat by heating a mineral plate within the lamp. The minerals are then absorbed into the body to help rebuild and repair the clients health. It is a non-invasive relaxing treatment.

RESULTS AFTER ONE SESSION OF FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE!

It is recommended to have between 5-15 sessions of facial acupuncture, dependent on your current skin, age and desired results! However results may start to be seen after 1 or 2 sessions as shown by the picture below the clients lines are far less deep and will only continue to reduce as sessions progress.

If you complete the recommended course and have regular maintenance sessions the results can last for up to 5-10 years!

One of the main questions I am asked when talking about Facial Acupuncture is does it hurt? Having had the treatment myself, I can confidently say no it doesn't hurt, there are some points where you may feel slight discomfort on insertion, but I would describe it more as a tingle rather than pain and this lasts for only a second, once the needle is in you can no longer feel it.

Most of the apprehension towards the treatment stems from the comparison of it feeling like having an injection or having blood drawn, I can't stress enough how far away from reality this is! The acupuncture needle is significantly smaller, it goes nowhere near as deep into the skin and requires no substance to enter or leave the body, it is a calm relaxing treatment!
