Peacefully on Friday 15th May at her home in Longsdon and in the presence of her loving family, Krystyna aged 75 years. The much loved wife of Jan, precious mum of Alexzandra, Georgia, Danusha and Xsienia, dear sister to John, treasured aunty and friend to many.

Funeral service to take place on Monday 8th June at St. Chads Church, Longsdon at 1.00pm followed by a private family cremation. Please feel free to wear colourful clothing.
Everyone is welcome afterwards at Longsdon Village Hall.

Reflecting on a recent service conducted by ourselves here at David H Smith, we had the honour of carrying out a beautiful service at St Giles Church, Hartington, in Buxton.

Families often ask what happens before we arrive at the church, so we wanted to share this clip to gently show how we prepare your loved one’s final journey as they leave our premises. 🎩

Here you can see Liam and the team carrying out the final preparations with the utmost care and dignity. Before the hearse is closed, Liam bows his head as a quiet sign of respect. He is then seen walking ahead of the hearse, carrying his hat and cane as we leave our premises in Leek. This slow, steady walk is a longstanding mark of honour and respect.

The hearse then travels at an average speed of 30mph, depending on traffic and road conditions, ensuring a calm and dignified journey.

The beautiful solid oak coffin was adorned with a stunning 4ft floral arrangement, with the family choosing elegant blue and white tones for the casket spray. Thank you Possibilities Florist for your stunning arrangement.

Meeting us on arrival at the church was Reverend Canon Doctor Nicola McNally, who guided us into the service at the beautiful St. Giles Church.
It is always our privilege to support families with compassion, dignity, and the highest level of care during such an important farewell.
