Our paramedic led team were proud to be in London supporting the Pink Ribbon Walk this weekend, helping keep participants safe as they took on a 10-mile challenge along the Thames.

The event is one of four, and brings people together to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and support, with thousands walking for loved ones, for themselves, and for the 55,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK each year.

Throughout the day, our clinicians provided care and reassurance so every participant could focus on putting one foot in front of the other.

It was also great to meet John Merrill, the marathon walker and author, alongside so many determined individuals all contributing to the same cause.

A huge well done to everyone who took part!

Today we provided medical cover for the crowd at the Bet365 stadium, and we want to say a huge thank you to our team who gave up part of their Boxing Day to help make it happen.

From the die hard fans who’d rather miss Christmas dinner than kick-off, to those who still aren’t quite sure why people shout at a ball, you were all covered.

We’re incredibly proud of our staff for being part of a tradition that brings so many people together and for doing it with professionalism, good humour, and minimal complaining about the cold!
