Yesterday evening, our team at Peak Medical and Rescue was proud to support Buxton Mountain Rescue Team by providing medical cover at the Shining Tor Fell Race — a fantastic event set against the stunning backdrop of the Peak District.

We’re always honoured to work alongside dedicated volunteers like those at Buxton MRT, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone out on the hill. A huge thank you to the race organisers and all the runners who made it such a brilliant evening!

Peak Medical and Rescue is excited to be delivering full medical cover for the incredible SkyRun Eryri races—including the Snowdon SkyRace and the 14 Peaks Ultra.

These are not your average trail runs. Designed to push athletes to their limits, these world-class skyrunning routes demand technical skill, mountain endurance, and absolute focus. Our team of expert responders will be on hand across the course—on foot, by vehicle, and on the ridges—ready to provide rapid response and specialist care where it matters most.

We’re proud to support an event that celebrates the very best of UK mountain running—and to help keep everyone safe while they take on these legendary routes. 🏃‍♂️💨⛰️

Introducing Our 16-Hour Outdoor First Aid Training – Learn Life-Saving Skills in the Heart of the Peak District

Are you passionate about outdoor adventures? Whether you’re a keen hiker, cyclist, camper, or outdoor instructor, you know how quickly things can take a turn when out in the wild. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 16-Hour Outdoor First Aid Training, designed specifically for anyone who spends time in the great outdoors.

Delivered by experienced Mountain Rescue professionals, this course is an essential investment in your safety and confidence when venturing into remote areas. Held in the stunning Peak District, one of the UK’s most popular outdoor playgrounds, this training offers hands-on, practical experience in a realistic setting – giving you the skills to respond effectively in an emergency, no matter where your adventures take you.
