You can find the DMU Breastfeeding Clinic every Tuesday from 1-3pm on the ground floor of Edith Murphy House on the De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) campus 🏢

There are plenty of travel options to get you to the clinic. If you are planning on taking public transport then check out the Choose How You Move website for the best routes 🚌 For those who drive, Pay and Display parking options can be found in the DMU Main Car Park (accessed via Gateway Street), on The Newarke, or at the car parks on Newarke Street 🚗

Come along for free friendly feeding information and support for you and your baby 🤱

The DMU Breastfeeding Clinic runs every Tuesday afternoon between 1 and 3pm and is staffed by a qualified midwife and experienced student midwives ❤️

There is no need to book an appointment, you can simply turn up at the clinic which can be found on the ground floor of the Edith Murphy building on the De Montfort University Leicester (DMU)) campus 🏢

The room is accessible for those with pushchairs and/or wheelchairs and you can get to the campus by car or public transport. If you choose to drive then there are pay and display spaces available to clinic attendees in the main visitor car park which can be accessed via Gateway Street. Alternatively, closer parking options are the pay and display car parks available on Newarke Street (both street level and multi-storey) and pay and display on-street parking on The Newarke 🚗 If you wish to travel by public transport then there are several bus routes in the vicinity, you can check which would be best for you by looking on www.choosehowyoumove.co.uk 🚌

If you are in need of reassurance or advice about feeding your baby, pop along to the clinic which is on the ground floor of the Edith Murphy building on the De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) campus 🏢

The clinic is always staffed by a qualified midwife who supervises second and third year student midwives, offering free, evidence-based information tailored to your needs 🤱

There are plenty of public transport options nearby 🚌 and car parking is available (on a pay and display basis) in the main visitor car park (accessed via Gateway Street) as well as on The Newarke or the public car parks on Newarke Street 🚗

De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) will be closed on Tuesday 26th August therefore the DMU Breastfeeding Clinic will NOT be running that day. There are still a few spaces remaining for the next fabulous Parent Education course 👀

Book now for four FREE sessions with our experienced final year Midwifery students (and supported by qualified midwives) who are ready to boost your knowledge and answer your questions ⬇️

Third-year DMU student midwives will be running Parent Education Sessions during September, open to staff, students or any pregnant person in the local area.

If you or your birth partner is pregnant with a due date in October or November, you can book onto the sessions for free!

Sessions will fully supervised by fully qualified DMU Midwifery Lecturers and cover topics including labour and birth, birth environments including home and hospital, pain relief options, infant feeding and the transition to parenthood.

Dates: Thursdays 8, 15, 22 & 29 September, 6-8pm
Location: Edith Murphy House De Montfort University LE1 5RR
