For others, Mothering Sunday carries a quieter feeling. A space at the table, a voice missed, a love that now lives in memories rather than moments. An interment of Rogers Ashes will take place at Asfordby Church Yard on Monday 16th February 2026 at 11:00am followed by a wake at the Crown Pub in Asfordby; you are all warmly welcome to attend the interment of ashes and the wake but please let our undertaker (Shane Mousley) know if you are coming by calling 0116 269 8120 this way we can give accurate catering numbers to the Crown.
