Imbolc Blessings, Lughnasadh Blessings if you are in the Southern Hemisphere.

A while back wrote that Imbolc is like 3am if you imagine the Wheel of the Year as a clock face. This resonated with me deeply and has influenced my thinking ever since. Who would be getting up and starting their day at 3am? There is a lot of sleeping still to do. So if you are still feeling as if the year hasn't really got going, you're probably tuned into the rhythms of the Earth and honouring her slumber. There are a few sparks of life poking through the soil, the snowdrops and daffodils those natural early risers whose job it is to bring a little hope to the grey, cold and wet days.

Over the next week notice how your body feels and watch what is happening in nature. This is the energy of Imbolc.

The Seasonal Ritual Circle is an opportunity to tap into the energy of the season and draw sustenance from something much bigger than you: the Earth.

We create a calm, nourishing circle together, a sacred pause, time to tend to our hearts and dreams.

Samhain Blessings to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere and Beltane Blessings to all in the Southern Hemisphere. In the North we are heading into our winter and going through a process of contracting, shedding and pruning.

We are meeting on Sunday to celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year. Working with plant allies Rosemary and Rose and the Yew tree we will connect with ourselves, each other and the Earth. Since working with these solar gateways I have experienced greater groundedness, connection and peace. Yes, I still spin out now and again but it's easier and quicker to come back to myself and my centre.

Next month’s seasonal ritual circle for Samhain on the 2nd November is going to be a beautiful, grounded, gentle session. It is carefully designed to calm the nervous system and support the physical body. We will be joined by plant and tree allies Rose, Rosemary and Yew. It is Autumn Equinox or Mabon on Monday in the Northern Hemisphere. A time of harvest and sacred balance. We then continue our descent into winter.

During the Seasonal Ritual Circle 2-4pm on Sunday, we will be releasing through breath and movement, making these dolls, working with allies Rosemary and Hawthorn. Taking time to drop in, connect with ourselves, the cycles of the Earth and each other.

Consider these journal prompts:

• Name three things you are deeply grateful for this year.
• What are are you being encouraged to let go of or release?
• How can you bring greater balance into your life?

The Seasonal Ritual Crafting workshop this morning was so lovely. Twelve people gathered to make beautiful natural wall hangings, each one as different as it's maker. I love the way everyone takes the same materials and brings their own style, interpretation and expression to the piece. We worked with the theme of gratitude weaving our thanks through each object.

The weather has definitely turned towards Autumn here in the UK, there has been a noticeable shift in the last few weeks. We will be gathering to celebrate the Autumn Equinox together in a month's time. Working with our allies Rosemary and Hawthorn, a beautiful ritual is beginning to weave together. The theme for the afternoon is Sacred Balance. We will work with the energy of the season to discover what needs to be released, to bring ourselves into balance. Join us for an afternoon of tea drinking, guided meditation, gentle crafting and sharing. I look forward to connecting with you.

Join us on 3rd August for a Seasonal Ritual Circle to celebrate and welcome in the energy of Lammas. This ritual has been carefully crafted to explore the theme of creative flow. We will drink a specially prepared Blue Lotus brew, work with the seasonal energies and our inner landscape through meditation, journaling exercises and creative practice. There will be plenty of opportunities to connect and share. Each participant will be given a London Plane tree essence to take home to continue to integrate the session.

These sessions aim to carve out space for stillness, introspection and connection. They are a sacred pause to honour the holy days on the Wheel of the Year. We each take the experience and weave it into the fabric of our lives.

• Taking time out of the everyday helps us to gain perspective.
• Engaging in play and creative activities nourishes the soul.
