There’ll be no guest speaker this time , just a friendly, welcoming space to come along, enjoy a drink, and share conversation with other midlife women. Whether you feel like chatting, listening, laughing, or simply taking some time out for yourself, you’ll be very welcome.

✨ The evening is free to attend, with complimentary refreshments, and as always, it’s a warm, no-pressure environment where you can connect, relax, and just be yourself.

We are pleased to announce that we have rescheduled this event for Thursday 15th January after having to cancel due to severe weather warnings and snow last week. It will be taking place at cafe fifty five in Thurnby village.

We can’t quite believe it’s the 4th session since sip and share started in October and all of you ladies who have been attending are creating something rather special.

It’s set to be another brilliant event as we have a guest speaker requested by the group - our very own Jenny Bazely, Registered Dietitian.

Jenny isn’t about fad diets or quick fixes. With years of experience in clinical and community nutrition, she specialises in the things that matter most during your 40s, 50s and beyond:
✔️ Managing weight in a sustainable way
✔️ Supporting gut health (IBS, IBD, FODMAP)
✔️ Balancing blood sugar and metabolic health
✔️ Practical, everyday food strategies that fit your life

She considers your hormones and lifestyle which means the advice you get is personalised, science-backed, and actually doable.

Jenny’s goal? To help you eat well without it feeling restrictive, and to build changes you can maintain long term — not another plan you abandon after 2 weeks.
