๐Ÿ’™ Total Triage โ€“ a fairer way to access care ๐Ÿ’™

We have now launched our new Total Triage system, designed to make it easier and fairer for everyone to access care.

With Total Triage, appointments are no longer first come, first served. This means you do not need to call at 8am or queue on the phone to be seen. Every request is reviewed carefully by our clinical team and prioritised based on medical need.

If you are not able to use online forms, you can still phone the practice and our reception team will complete the form with you. You will not be disadvantaged by calling, or completing the form later in the day.

Please be reassured โ€” this change is about making sure patients get the right care at the right time, without the stress of rushing or queuing. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.

We launched our new Total Triage system yesterday, and weโ€™d like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we get things up and running.

Total Triage helps us look at every request carefully, so we can make sure youโ€™re offered the right help, at the right time, based on your needs. This might be a same-day appointment, a future appointment, advice from a clinician, or support from another member of the team.

Please be reassured โ€” no one will be left without care. If youโ€™re unable to use online forms, or if youโ€™re unsure what to do, our reception team is here to help you.

EDIT- WATER IS BACK ON - OPEN AS USUAL

Due to a loss of water supply at Newbold Verdon Surgery, the practice will be temporarily closed for health, safety, and hygiene reasons.

Please continue to call the surgery as normal, but be aware that our phone lines will be very busy. If your appointment or query can wait, we kindly ask that you contact us later in the week.

From 2nd February, weโ€™re changing how you request appointments to make our service fairer, easier and more accessible for everyone.
All appointment requests will be made using our Online Message System, which allows a doctor to review your request and make sure you get the right care, at the right time, from the right person.
