🎶 What a Fantastic Afternoon of Music & Smiles! 🎶
We had such a fun and lively afternoon at the care home today thanks to our wonderful guest singer Trevor 🎤✨
A huge thank you to Trevor for coming along and filling the room with music, laughter, and joy.
Our residents absolutely loved getting involved — from wearing sparkly hats, using musical instruments, clapping and dancing along, to bravely joining Trevor on the microphone! 💃🕺🎶 It was heart-warming to see so many smiles, laughter, and moments of confidence shining through.
Music plays such an important role for our residents, especially those living with dementia. Familiar songs can spark memories, encourage communication, lift mood, and create a strong sense of connection. Even residents who may struggle to express themselves verbally often come alive through music, movement, and rhythm ❤️
Afternoons like these remind us just how powerful music can be — bringing people together, boosting wellbeing, and creating moments to treasure.
