🌹 Valuing our Families 🌹
Sue recently organised and hosted another social evening for the families of our residents.
It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together, share information, listen to ideas, relax and enjoy good food and wine.
We value the input from our families and always enjoy spending time with them. Their loved ones are our priority and their families opinions are so important to us.
Sue gave everyone a warm welcome and signposted the itinerary for the evening. She introduced our new Head of Care, Sarah and our Clinical Lead, Ramona, who shared with everyone their journey and experience in care and their roles at Watermead Rose.
Jaime, our Home Manager invited our families to get involved in helping to shape our new menus. He reminded everyone that his door is always open and genuinely welcomes all conversations.
Our wonderful chefs, Susan and Rommel created a delicious Italian feast which everyone enjoyed, with many having second helpings, a great testament to be proud of. Thank you both for staying late, getting to know our families and listening to their suggestions and ideas 🙏
The feedback from the evening has been so positive, with everyone saying how good it was to meet others who share the same situation and with who they could empathise with, share their stories and not feel so alone.
Such a wonderful evening, where new friendships were made, where acquaintances became friends and we all shared ideas and the same focus… the care, well-being and happiness of our residents.
