🎄🌹Treats for community groups🌹🎄

Can you help please?

We are looking for community groups that you feel deserves a festive hamper of treats! ❤️

We recognise that community groups work so hard to support older people, those with Dementia and their carers.

We want to thank them and offer our support to them. 🌹

From the 1st November up to Christmas our Customer Relationship Manager Sue will be out in the community personally delivering a hamper of festive treats to a deserving community group every week. ❤️

We are looking for nominations for groups you would like us to support.

We want to spread a little festive cheer🎄

If you run or attend a community group that supports older people or those with Dementia and/or their carers, please let us know.

Please get nominating, don’t let our hard working and dedicated groups miss out.

🎁✨ Macc Care is proud to be taking part in LoveBrum’s “Bags for Brummies” campaign this year! 💙

This heart-warming initiative supports people experiencing homelessness in Birmingham city by providing bags filled with essential items to help through the colder months – and we’d love your help! 🧣🧤

We welcome all staff, relatives, friends, and members of our local community to support us by donating vital essentials. You can drop items off here at Watermead Rose – just choose from the lists below! Thank you 💛

🧣 Winter Warmer Bag (£10–£25)
Please consider donating any of the following:
-Shampoo and conditioner
-Liquid soap
-Roll-on deodorant
-Feminine hygiene products
-Wet wipes
-Toothbrush & toothpaste
-Comb / hairbrush
-Flannel
-Sleeping bag
-Small gift (e.g. supermarket/food voucher)
-Sweet treat (non-boiled)
-Chocolate 🍫
-Winter woollies (hat, gloves, scarf)

These items help someone moving into accommodation:

Today we welcomed back the very popular singing superstar that is… Miss TuTu!

She belted out songs from the shows. What an awesome performance, thoroughly enjoyed by our residents and visitors at Watermead Rose.

Miss TuTu brought the glamour and the songs, which made our residents want to shake their sparkly Pom poms and sing along ✨

Thank you Miss TuTu for bringing so many smiles to our residents faces. Even behind the smiley emoji’s are genuine big smiley faces full of joy 😁

🌹Move & Groove🌹

Starting the week right with morning exercise.

Our residents look forward to their morning exercise sessions.

Jayne and Chloe always ensure the sessions are fun too.

Staff are always popping in as they are passing, we can’t help but want to join in when you hear infectious laughter along the corridor!

Here, a couple of our kitchen team popped in to say hello as they were passing and couldn’t resist a little jig!

At Watermead Rose all of the staff chat to our residents and make a fuss of them, they really love that ❤️
