What a wonderful week we’ve had here at Woodheyes! ☀️
Our residents have been making the most of the beautiful sunshine and enjoying a variety of fun activities together. From creating delicious homemade lemonade for Lemonade Day 🍋 to taking a trip down memory lane with music, singing, and dancing the afternoon away 💃🕺
There’s also been plenty of sweet treats, with everyone getting involved in making chocolatey rice crispy cakes, a definite highlight! Alongside all of this, we’ve shared lots of laughter with games and good company throughout the week and preparing for VE Day next week.

What a glorious sunny St George’s Day we’ve had today! 🌞🇬🇧

Our residents made the most of the sunshine with some puzzle games and matching cards this morning lots of concentration… and just a little healthy competition between residents and staff (we won’t name names 👀😀).

Lunchtime was an absolute treat with a specially prepared menu that went down a storm, followed by beautifully decorated cupcakes for tea , because no celebration is complete without a bit of icing and a lot of smiles! 🧁

This afternoon, we even managed a lovely little outing to the coffee shop. Fresh air, good company, and a proper cup of coffee ,what more could you ask for.All in all, a day full of laughter, sunshine, and sweet treats. We think St George would approve! 🌹

The chicks have had such a lovely time here at Woodheyes 🐥 and we’re delighted to say they’ll be back again next year!
Our residents have also enjoyed a wonderful morning getting creative, crafting Tetra games together, followed by a fun-filled afternoon of games and laughter.
Don’t forget to have a look out for your loved ones’ personalised poems displayed on the back of their doors ,with more still to go up soon. We truly hope families enjoy them just as much as our residents have. Let’s just say there have been a few happy tears all round 💛

We’ve had such an egg-cellent time celebrating Easter with our lovely residents! 🐣
From exciting Easter egg hunts, to fabulous bonnet competitions full of creativity and style , it’s been non-stop fun all around.
Our kitchen team truly spoiled us with the most beautiful (and delicious!) Easter treats safe to say they didn’t last long at all! 😋
And as if that wasn’t enough excitement… yesterday our chicks arrived, and today they’ve started hatching! OMG they are SO cute 🐥We even had some friendly bets on which one would hatch first… and drumroll please… number 8 was the winner! 🏆
We also enjoyed a lovely, feel-good afternoon with Dan Fitness, getting everyone moving, smiling, and laughing together 💪
What a wonderful Easter full of joy, laughter, and a few chocolatey surprises along the way and let’s not forget the beautiful sunshine which the ladies thoroughly enjoyed today !

What a lovely day it’s been! 🐣
Our residents have been busy creating beautiful Easter baskets for their loved ones, filled with care and creativity. We were also delighted to receive thoughtful Easter cards from Kirby Muxloe Primary School ,such a kind gesture that brought so many smiles!
Everyone is now looking forward to a wonderful Easter weekend, especially our delicious Easter Sunday dinner. Just wait until you see this amazing menu… it’s going to be a real treat! 🍽️

What a truly lovely day we’ve had! 🐣
This morning was filled with creativity and laughter as residents enjoyed making their beautiful Easter bonnets so many bright colours, ribbons, and unique designs on display! 🎀
This afternoon, the fun continued in the kitchen as we got busy making delicious chocolate nests. There were smiles all around (and a little bit of chocolatey mess too!) 🍫
Now we’re all looking forward to sitting down together to enjoy our homemade treats with a nice cup of tea this evening. A perfect way to end a wonderful day!

Getting Easter-ready at Woodheyes today 🐣🌸✨
We’ve been busy preparing for a week full of fun, creativity, and lots of crafting! From colourful decorations to hands-on activities, we can’t wait to see all the amazing creations come to life.
It’s going to be such a lovely week celebrating together 💛 Stay tuned for all the Easter fun ahead!

Our residents had a lovely games morning today, full of smiles, laughter, and a great sense of community 🎲😊
They also got a little cheeky sneak peek into this afternoon’s activity — Personalised Poem Day! ✍️ Keep an eye out, as their wonderful poems will soon be displayed in residents’ rooms for everyone to enjoy.
Yesterday’s Waffle Day was a big hit too — safe to say there were plenty of happy faces all around! 🧇💛
And don’t forget our wonderful raffle — be sure to grab your tickets from the office for a chance to win some fantastic prizes! 🎟️✨

Happy Red Nose Day everyone! 🎈❤️
We’ve had such a fantastic day here at Woodheyes! The morning was filled with fun and laughter as residents enjoyed games with hoops and bean bags, followed by a lively (and competitive!) session of balloon volleyball 🎉
This afternoon, our monthly gentlemen’s get-together had a special twist as we headed to the local pub for a delicious lunch and a well-earned pint 🍻 There were smiles all around—safe to say we had plenty of happy chappies!
To top it all off, everyone tucked into a wonderful Fish and Chip Friday dinner, along with some gorgeously made Red Nose Day cupcakes 🧁 A truly joyful day from start to finish!

Today has been full of fun and lovely moments! 😊
Our residents have enjoyed playing dominoes together, followed by relaxing walks around the garden where we admired the beautiful butterflies and ladybirds. 🦋🐞
This afternoon brought even more joy with a special visit from singer Jon, who entertained everyone and had us all smiling and singing along! 🎶

Happy St Patrick’s Day to everyone 🥰
Today our residents have been full of St Patrick’s Day spirit! ☘️
The morning was spent getting creative as everyone enjoyed making beautiful shamrock decorations, bringing lots of colour and cheer to the home. This was followed by a delicious St Patrick’s inspired lunch, which was enjoyed by all.
