A New Year’s resolution I won’t be ditching after jan… showing up for yourself first✨

Before you have to become whatever your day revolves around (being a parent, teacher, nurse, boss…) take time to do something for you first.

For me that looks like not snoozing my alarm on weekdays and getting myself to the gym and sauna but some days I struggle to do that so I make a deal with myself to do something else such as journaling or reading for 10 mins before I get out of bed.

Something as simple as making your favourite breakfast and mindfully enjoying it before you have to hit play on the busyness of life makes all the difference to your day.🕊️

Start your day feeling proud of yourself before anyone else and watch how much you achieve throughout the rest of the day🤍

Sometimes a step back and reevaluation of what success really feels like is necessary. Because what is the point in pursuing a path if you’re feeling burnt out, stressed and unwell?!
