Today we celebrate not only International Women’s Day, but the incredible team of strong, supportive, and independent women we are together. Every day we lift each other up, work hard, laugh a lot, and prove that when women support women, amazing things happen.

Every so often, a frame just finds its person ~ And this was one of those moments. The shape, the subtle stripes, the delicate detailing… it all came together so effortlessly on her 😍

A show worth seeing 👀🎭 We’re proud to support our local community theatre and their latest production!

Performances take place from Wednesday 18th to Saturday 21st February, with evening shows at 7pm each night and an additional 2pm matinee on Saturday 21st.

The show will be performed at Fusion Academy, 68 Moore Road, Barwell, LE9 8AG.

Tickets are priced at £7.50 for adults and £6 for concessions.

As we step into a new year, we’re taking a moment to reflect with gratitude and pride. We achieved so much over the past year, entering it with faith, passion, and a genuine love for what we do—and most importantly, for the patients we are privileged to look after. Every test, every conversation, and every smile reminded us why we do this.

🎄✨Merry Christmas from Wood Street & Stoney Stanton Optical ✨🎄

As the year comes to a close, we just want to say a huge thank you to our wonderful community. We are so grateful for every one of you — it’s truly a privilege to care for and work for such a lovely community ❤️

Our team will be taking a well-deserved Christmas break. We’ll be back open on Monday 29 December 2025 👓✨
We will then close early on Wednesday 31 December, be closed on Thursday 1 January, and reopen on Friday 2 January.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year 🎅🎁
