Had a wonderful weekend of continuing professional development looking at the nervous system presented by international speaker Dr William Foley. It was wonderful to review the anatomy and physiology, as well as delving deeper into understanding it's implications in osteopathic practice.

Happy Mother's day!

To every mother, thank you for all you do, you're doing an amazing job!

To those that have stepped in to fill that space, thank you!

To those that have lost, sending you love.

To those that are no longer here, thank you for what you did, and we are thinking of you today.

Celebrating all the other Women and Girls in Science!

One of the things I continue to love most about osteopathy, is its thorough foundation in human sciences.

To become an osteopath is a 4-5 year training, studying physiology, neural science, anatomy, biomechanics, pathology, neurology, psychology...and the list goes on!

Then when I did my post-graduate paediatric training, we studied embryology, paediatric anatomy (children are constantly in the process of growth and change), developmental stages, paediatric pathology, neonatology etc.

All of these science subjects are what help me make informed recommendations about what is going on with your body and what we can do to help make it better.

One of the best things about being a paediatric osteopath is seeing the progress babies make in development when given the right opportunities and support.

Keeping Families Healthy in Leicester since 2012.

Osteopathy can get you out of pain, optimise function and promote health and well-being. AND it's appropriate for the whole family!

I particularly love working with mum’s and babies, looking after their health and well-being, so they can focus on their growing bond, and on developing the family life they want.

I gained a Masters in Osteopathy (M.Ost) from the European School of Osteopathy in 2011. I have since gone on to complete a postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy (DPO) from the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London, alongside 7 years of postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy in the Biodynamic field. I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
