Pay rates up to £11.10ph
We are looking for colleagues with availability around the following patterns: 7am - 2pm and 3pm-10pm and alternate weekends
Drivers preferred but we also have some walking runs

The comic spent a few days working in a care home in Barry for the ninth series of his BBC Wales last year.

Rhod Gilbert said: ‘I have been wanting to film a Work Experience episode as a carer for years – and before the Covid-19 outbreak, our little team made it happen.

“It was very emotional when we filmed it, and at the time I felt that carers were some of the least valued and most valuable members of our society; that is no longer in question.

“At the end of the episode, one of the staff at the home reads a poem about what it means to be a carer and she nails it.

Q: What will Ave Maria Care Leicester do to assist with safety to carers late at night?

A: Staff safety is at the top of our priority list….

1. We are trialing an “I am safe” WhatsApp group which is monitored in the evening by either Paul or Nickie

2. R**e alarms will be issued to those carers who would like one to assist with feeling safe

3. All of our carers will be made aware of the below poster “Urgent Police Help” which will give peace of mind when walking to and from clients homes if carers feel fearful.

Ave Maria Leicester will be listening to all ideas to assist staff with security, we have an open door policy and actively encourage communication 🦋
