Baby Loss Awareness Week 2025 is taking place from 9 to 15 October to raise awareness about pregnancy and baby loss and to bring together people who have been impacted.
Our maternal mental health service, which supports people going through baby loss, birth trauma and tokophobia (fear of pregnancy and childbirth), has pulled together some advice and resources to help people who have been touched by baby loss.
Dr Jennifer Weedon, principal clinical psychologist for the maternal mental health service, said: “Losing a baby at any point and for any reason can be incredibly painful. There is no single ‘right’ way to be feeling after an experience like this.”
It is important to remember that you are not alone and that help is available if you need it.
